Chapter 4: Details & Vocabulary

You probably learned about sensory details since you were in Kindergarten. And, if you were like me during that grade, you probably just ignored it and continued writing like:

john ate to yummy apples.

Yup, it's true - I used to write like that.

But then 5th grade came around, and I decided to fix up my writing:

But then 5th grade came around, and I decided to fix up my writing:

John ate two mouthwatering, green apples. When he sunk his teeth into the apple, the apple made a sound of crunching, his favorite sound.

Now past 5th grade, I realized that sensory details is important. In case you don't know what they are, I'm going to tell you. 

Smell, taste, hear, touch, and sight. 

Make sure to add that to your writing!

VOCABULARY

Normal vocab: I was finally free after a long time.

Awesome vocab: I was finally liberate after all these years.
