The Game.

Danielle's POV

So thats how my senior year passed.We were in the last week of senior year.It was Friday.Saturday the Big Game.Sunday The Prom.And we graduated on the following Saturday.

I had gotten accepted in the college of my dreams.Derick had been accepted because of his amazing sports record.

Our colleges were not that close so we wouldn't be meeting except during the holiday months.

Between us everything was like always.We were still the best of friends.No I hadn't gathered the courage to tell him.I just couldn't risk our friendship.

Derick's POV

Yeah so I hadnt told her anything.Dan meant the world to me.And with everyday I was starting to like her even more.She only took me as her best friend.Ann was her usual bitchy self.I wanted to break up with her soon.It wasn't fair on my path to like Dan and still continue dating Annabel.

The big game was tomorrow.My dream to win this game for my high school.I switched off my lights with a sigh.So much on my mind.I wanted to talk to my best friend but I couldn't.

Danielle's POV

So here I was in the bleachers.I looked at the cheerleaders display in awe.Ann looked graceful as she was fliped in the air and landed in one swift movement.

Then the players were called to the field.Derick being the captain came out first and I couldn't help but drool.I watched as the match enfolded.

The match was preety interesting.Both the teams were on an equal score.It was two minutes to the game end.Both teams still equal.Just befor the final call went out Derick got the ball in his hand and ran across the field and scores his final goal.

I screamt in joy and jumped up and down.When I stoped I went to look at where he was only to find him starring back at me.I looked down and blushed.

Then I looked back up and saw him walking towards Ann.Ann was there throwing herself at Jordan one of the jocks.They were liplocking when Derick got there.

Then everything was in slow motion.Derick getting angry.Ann getting annoyed.They fought there.And even though I couldn't hear I knew Derick had broken up with Ann.
