Boy #2

Jaie sat with Isa outside his house

"It gets better you know" he whispered as he grabbed his hand and interlocked their fingers together

"There's so much pain, you know?" He asked with sadness

"I know Jaie" he said as he leaned on him in comfort

"Why did this have to happen?" He asked with a trembling voice

"Because loving someone is giving them the power to break you but you just have to make sure that it'll be worth the pain" Isa said as he rubbed his hands comfortingly

"Why did he leave?" He asked as his voice sounded thick with tears, you could hear it was hard for him to keep his tears at bay

"I don't know why he left, I just know that everything happens for a reason, maybe he just isn't meant to be in your life anymore but you need to know things do get better" Isa said trying to comfort Jaie

"He said he'll never leave, that he loved me Isa but he did exactly what he said he'll never do" Jaie said as tears rushed down his soft cheeks.

"Things change, people change and feelings change Jaie, he just so happened to change before you did" Isa said as he hugged him tightly

"He's never coming back, is he?" Jaie asked with a broken heart

"No, he left us all behind and didn't think twice about it, he doesn't deserve your tears" Isa said as he angrily thought about how Adam could have done this to them all, especially to Jaie.

Bastard left without even a goodbye... Isa thought to himself as Jaie his best friend cried in his arms

"Everyone leaves me" Jaie cried out holding onto Isa as if he would slip from his hands just like he did

"I'm not going anywhere kid" he said holding onto him tightly with a silent promise on his tongue to never hurt him like others have hurt him

Jaie was a broken boy, his heart was ripped out of his chest and smashed into a brick wall, his trust was shattered time and time again by so many people, they did him wrong and he just kind of expected it to happen, he got use to the pain of people leaving him overtime
