"Let me see if I have this down, you and witch boy get trapped and all of a sudden you found a way to get out without the use of the ascendant?" Damon covers everything we told them.

I nod.

"I don't know how but it just happened." I shrug.

"Witchy boy here also helped Ellie find out about her abilities." Kai raised a finger.

"Energy bender?" Stefan adds in.

"Yup." I say.

We try to cover as much questions as we can answer.

"So how did you two get so friendly." Stefan looks at both Kai and I.

"A hell lot of tolerance that's one thing." I quickly lie.

Kai chuckles.

"Can I go now?" His smile fades.

"Not yet child." Damon says.

"Well I have to discuss something very important to Ellie." Kai grabs my arm, springing me up.

I see Stefan begin to get uneasy.

"It's okay." I try to calm him down.

Kai then drags me away from my brothers.

It seems that he found more magic to siphon, he buts some kind of barrier around us.

It's weird, I see the barrier, isn't magic supposed to be invisible?

"Privacy spell." He answers he question I was about to ask.

"What do you have to tell me?" I ask.

He hesitates at first.

"You're being possessed." He blurts it out.

"W-what?" I take a step back.

"I got to meet her, or him, it's a spirit and its responsible for the prison break." Kai says.

"When did you find out?" I ask him.

"This morning." He answers.

I put my head in my hands.

"That's why..." I trail off.
The ability, that's why I just began to use it, how I didn't know about it sooner.

"Did it say what it wanted?" I ask him nervously.

"It wanted to break free from you, there's some kind of link between you guys, I bet I could break it but first we need to know what it really wants." Kai tries to calm me down.

Can I contact the spirit.

I close my eyes.

Do you mind showing yourself, so I can see you?
I speak inside my mind.

Air, I'm desperately trying it breath, I need air.

I feel my lungs grasping for air but it can't seem to get any.

I gasp and I nearly fall over.

Then I feel like something rising from my stomach.
