It all started and ended in the same year,
But they still have feelings for each other.
Neither they confessed then,
Nor will be doing now!
The seed of love they sow,
Couldn't harvest it, although,

Beneath the worldly norms,

He feels he's disturbing,
She thinks, she might be annoying,

Unaware she is, about her he still dreams.
Even he lacks the idea,
Each time her phone blinks,
She expects it to be him.
They began as strangers,
Went beyond friendship,
Without actually acknowledging it.
After a battle with thoughts,
He finally decided to step back.
Thought himself as incompetent and a hindrance.
Said nothing to her and changed everything to normal,
But this isn't what they were habitual to.
She read between the lines,
She yelled and cried,
Screamed and begged,
For the reason of behavior to be defined.
Which She realised late and respected the decision he so made.
Thereafter they haven't spoke,
All that happened, they let it go!
They never show,
All that they know,
And are still close friends
And not a foe.
