Hey there, I hope you enjoyed this fan fiction. Please keep in mind that nothing in the story is real, and it's all purely fictional. As a major Elton John fan myself, this story wasn't intended to do any harm to Elton, his family, Bernie, etc. I just write for fun and for myself. I'm not making any money off of this, and I do not plan to in the future.
This story was inspired by many, many of Elton's songs. As you can tell, the title and first chapter is based off the song "Midnight Creeper" ( Link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uee4X-R9Stw ). Although in the song, Elton portrays himself as the creeper and he's not merely trying to kill anybody, it did inspire me to do a scene where Elton does save somebody, in this case Jeannie, from a legitimate murderer. I found it as a great, interesting opening scene to a dramatic romance fanfiction.
And quite obviously, the name Jeannie is in fact inspired by the song "Little Jeannie" as well. In the story, Jeannie is a girl that is based off of myself. I did not want to use my own name, and I wanted to make the character slightly different than me. Because I relate to the song "Little Jeannie" so well, the name fit perfectly in the story.
