The kids hung out every weekend after that day at the park . It's been about 5 weeks . Right now it was Sunday , all three were in my apartment . I was babysitting Madison while Lucas went to get a haircut . We were making brownies .
"Like this Ms.Aaliyah ?", Madison asked as she tried to mix the dough .
"Just like that love" , I nodded as I grabbed a pan from out of the small pantry . I swear the kids and I need a larger apartment , maybe even a house .
I grabbed the mixed dough and started to pour it into the pan when the doorbell rang .
"Hold on Madi , let me go answer the door" .
I walked past the twins who were on the couch watching SpongeBob and to the front door .
It was about 2:30 and Lucas had been gone for about an hour so I didn't think it was him . I unlocked and opened the door which only revealed my bestfriend , Vanessa .
"Hey bitchhhh" , her voice rang out as she stepped into the apartment . I shook my head , laughing .
"Hehe , bitch" , Aiden giggled as he ran past me .
"Oops" , Vanessa put her hand over her mouth , "shit I ain't know ya kids was here . Damn , my bad . You know what fuck it I'll leave and come back later" .
She started to head for the door .
I chuckled and picked Aiden up as he tried to run past me again , "Vanessa bring yo ass in this house . And you little boy , don't you ever say that word again" .
"Otay mommy , I sowwy" , he frowned , "down" .
I placed him down as I headed with Vanessa into the kitchen . She and I go way back , all the way to the womb . Our mothers were close friends .
"Who's this cause I know you ain't have no more kids" , she asked pointing to Madison .
I put the brownies in the oven and walked over to Madison , bending down to her level . She looked at me and smiled .
"This is Madison , Lucas' niece . She's been hanging out with me and the kids for a while" .
She waved at Madison and smirked , "Lucas huh ?" .
I playfully rolled my eyes , "Madison go in the living room with the twins" . We both watched her run into the living room .
"It's not even like that" .
"Shit well his fine ass could get in between these legs" , she looked to side . I chuckled .
"Bitch ain't you talking to somebody"
"What he don't know won't hurt him" , she chuckled .
"Tete Nessa !" , Ambrielle immediately ran into her arms as Vanessa picked her up .
"Hey princess ! How are you ?" , she grinned .
"I otay Tete . I miss you !" , Ambri laid her head on her shoulder .
"I missed you too baby girl" , Vanessa kissed her cheek .
Madison ran into the kitchen , "Ms. Aaliyah somebody just knocked on the door" .
"Stay here with Ambrielle Vanessa ?" , I asked more than I told . She nodded .
I went to the front and opened the door to see Lucas . "Hey pretty , is Madison ready ?" , he smiled .
