Maura's POV

I woke up in the hospital waiting room with two other woman and a toddler.
I was confused than I remembered. Olivia and Noah Benson and Alex Cabot were with me and Jane was in the hospital...but why was I out here?
Olivia finished talking to a doctor and came over to me. "How's Jane?" I asked.
Olivia looked down, "Maura, Jane's worse. Her condition has gone from stable to critical. I'm sorry."
Tears left my eyes. "Can...can I see her?"
"Yeah. She's been moved to ICU." Olivia looked continued to look at her feet.
Once we got to Jane's room, I go straight to her bedside. She looked worse. She had bigger tubes and more wires on her.
She was so pale.
"Oh Jane...baby, I'm so sorry." I said.
I move her dark hair out of her face. My heart was broken. I'm not myself. Usually, I'm pretty rational, but since Jane had been in the hospital....I can't think straight.
"I'll leave you two alone." Olivia said leaving.
My heart is broken, but I'm happy Jane's still alive.
God help me.
I'm torn.
