"Mike?" She looked in the mirror staring at her soldier-like buzzcut hair.
"El?"
"Do I look... pretty?"
Mike felt his face get hotter, and could tell he was blushing profusely, "I-I-i... Y-." Dammit he thought. You kissed her, and you can't tell her she looks pretty?! You're blubbering like an idiot- just say it!
"I think you're more than just pretty."
El looked at Mike in the mirror and grinned.
"S-so... About the Snowball..."
El turned to face Mike and looked slightly concerned, worrying what he would say next.
"You still want to go with me? I mean... I don't need Troy getting in your face. I know you can take it though, I mean you made him piss himself after that assembly and-"
"Mike."
"Y-yeah?"
"Promise."
