Escaping Time

Another way you have betrayed me,

I stand alone on the balcony,

As my tears pour down my face once more,

I scream out another curse at you,

And you sit and stare at me calmly,

As I watch the stars fade out with time,

And my escape away has gone again,

I wait for the door to appear for me,

For another is lost in the sea,

And the gods all rage over the mist,

For another way has gone past,

And time is still trying to get me again,

So I leave you with these words of Fate,

That you should just go away,

And leave me in the peace of Heaven,

While you rot in the deep pits of Hell,

I say this to you one more time,

That you should have let it go,

But now it has gone to past,

And too late this one won’t last,

So you should die right at her hand,

And leave the world only to be damned,

A single choice you have not now,

For I have taken it away,

As I sit here and curse you forever more,

The world will whisper of the sorrow you hold,

And now as you waste away,

You remember the ways,

And take another hit at me,

But I am only in your dreams.
