A Beautiful Death

Another noise is heard in the night,

It does cause quite a fright,

The child, she is sleeping still,

The mother cries out until,

The girl, her spirit shining bright,

Sings the song of soft delight,

The mother with tears streaming down her face,

Says goodbye as her daughter takes,

The hand of the Angel who has appeared,

And sobs as she disappears,

But one last thing is left ahead,

Her little girl’s funeral, she is dead.
