It's All About You

How come you take my breath away?

Everytime I look at you,

Why do you always look away?

I think I love you.

But you won’t try,

To understand me,

So when I cry,

It’s you I see,

I think of you all the time,

You’re always on my mind,

But every time you look away,

I feel the pull of the knife’s blade,

Piercing my heart every time,

Why can’t you just try,

To be with me just this once,

Give me a chance to see you hunt,

And all those days I wait and pray,

You always see me look away,

It’s cuz I can’t meet your gaze,

Without my heart ahead a pace,

I think I’ve started another race,

I dream of you all the time,

I wish that you were truly mine,

So everytime I close my eyes,

It’s you I see, every time,

But you’ll not pay attention,

So I thought I’d mention,

To ask you the right question,

Why do you make it so?

Why not try, just this once,

To let me prove my lust,

Though for every lasting day,

I’ll let you make the first move,

And I’ll prove,

That nothing changes,

For me and you.
