Fading Lights

The lights start to fade,

You have over stayed,

I think that I am feeling blue,

For you have left me to my doom,

So now as the flowers bloom,

I wake and curse another you,

And the time we have spent together,

Will be no more for ever,

As I take this knife and stab myself,

I’ll remember what you have put me through,

And  the Gates are golden but my soul is not,

You go to Hell to stay and rot,

My blood drips down and I see fading lights,

But the only thing I hold on to,

Is never you,

And I slowly come to my senses,

And weep the angels descendents,

Not that it would make much sense,

So now I hold much more of dense,

And as I weigh the dark clouds above,

I’d say that you won’t get a hug.

Now as I watch the fading lights,

I remember all of the frights,

And all that’s left is my scream,

As I wake up from another dream.
