|Character-Driven Stories v. Action-Driven |

Thank you to DenisaDianaJAFF for suggesting this topic. For werewolf stories, I wouldn't recommend them since these types of stories require planning. However it's possible to make happen.

Character centered stories require you to know your character in depth. Think of this as a one-shot you need to make it quick. So you think about the character and what type of situation they'd get in. When it's character centered, you probably have no idea what will happen next which could be fun.

I'm currently doing this on my side account and it is very refreshing.

If you plan on doing a story that is character driven it'll be a lot of work and it's possible to get sucked in and not know when to stop. So be aware not to drag the story on.

I'm not a very detailed oriented person, but I do like to have something figured out. So not knowing what's going to happen can lead to the dreaded writer's block and no one wants that.

So just really think about whether or not this method will really work for you.
