Pagkaakyat ko sa opisina ko, napatitig lang nanaman ako sa screen ng computer. She is working again. Parang wala lang sa kanya ang pagpunta ko doon.

That is unfair. Samantalang ako hindi ko na siya maiwaglit sa isipan ko. I should have the upper hand here. Ako ang boss niya. I took my phone and called her, mukhang hobby ko na ata ang tawagan siya.

Nakita kong tinitigan niya lang yung cellphone niya habang nagriring yun. Para bang nagiisip kung sasagutin o hindi. I scowled at my desktop. Answer my call damn it!

After several rings saka niya sinagot, "Heath."

"I want to see you in my office after lunch." Saka ko binaba. Pinaghihintay mo na ako, hindi ko na hahayaan pang babaan mo ako ng tawag.

I glanced at my Victorinux. Wala pang alas-dyes. What am I gonna do for the next hours before she comes up here? She is making me wait again! Kailangan niyang matuto. I fixed my suit before I stood up and bellowed at my secretaries. I am really not in the mood right now.

"Shaira! Call the architects and engineers of the Jimenez Towers. I want to see their presentation right now!" Napatakbo si Sheena sa harap ko habang may hawak na tablet.

"Mr. Ongpauco, next month pa po ang schedule nila-" I raised my brow at her.

"Did you hear what I just said?" I whispered but ballistic enough to send her goose bumps. Napatango na lang siya sabay takbo at tawag sa kung sino man ang hinahanap ko.

I rested my head on my index finger and thumb as they present me an undercooked blueprint. Why are they presenting this bullshit to me?

Ahh, right. To kill time, since Antoinette will be up in my office after lunch. And it's just 10:45. Ang tagal ng oras.

"Why am I wasting my time here?" I cut short the one presenting. Mukha silang pagod lahat. Para silang tumakbo ng milya-milya para lang makapunta sa akin agad. Hindi siya nakasagot, nakita kong nagsikuhan sila ng kasama niya sa harap.

"Mr. Ongpacuco, hindi pa po kasi naming tapo-"

"Of course it isn't! I'm not stupid!" Napapikit sila dahil sa sigaw ko. This is ridiculous. Mas maganda pang titigan ko na lang si Antoinette sa CCTV kesa naman magpatubo ako ng puting buhok sa inis dito. "Now all of you get out! Bago ko pa kayo sisantehin lahat!"

Napakaripas naman sila sa takbo. I sighed in my chair. I really need a good distraction from that woman. Hindi na maganda ang dulot niya sa akin. Napabalik ako sa opisina ko, pero pagkapasok ko doon. May nakaupo sa may mesa ko. Si Jinky. Why is she here?

She has her long legs crossed in front of her. She sat there seductively. "You never called. So I came here myself." She said alluring enough to summon my libido. The first thing I thought is to drag her out of my office.

But then she removed her panties and threw it across the room. It landed right in front of me. I did say that I needed a distraction. Napalakad ako papalapit sa kanya, I pulled her hair so I could claim her lips.

She moaned, "I missed you." She murmured. I cannot answer. All I can think about is that damn woman a few floors below me. She is nothing to you Heath. You have an equally dashing and sexy woman in front of you that is willing to let you do anything you want to her.

She ran her fingers through my hair before I lowered my kisses to her neck. But I can't really concentrate. This is really depressing me. Napahinto ako. This can't be right. I can't do it.

Hindi mawala sa isip ko ang mata at ngiti ng babaeng iyon. Napasuklay ako sa buhok ko. "Get out." Sabi ko. Napasimangot siya sa akin saka baba sa mesa ko at alis.

Napabuntong hininga ako sabay upo. I loosened my tie. I can't breathe. Hindi ako makahinga ng maayos, pakiramdam ko I cheated to Antoinette. Which is not right dahil wala naman kaming relasyon. At bakit ko naman iisipin na dapat may relasyon kami? That is so out of the line!

Then I received another email from mommy.

From: Mommy
Heath baby, just a reminder; my birthday party is tomorrow. Don't forget to bring your REAL DATE. Love you. Mom

Sa unang pagkakataon natuwa ako dahil sa email ni mommy. I just had the greatest idea. Saka ako nakarinig ng mahinang katok sa pinto ko. Saka ko napansing mag-aalas dose na at mukhang tapos na ang lunch ni Antoinette.

"You called me?" Bungad niya sa akin. I ran my fingers on my chin trying to analyze her facial expression.

"Yes. I want you to block your schedule for me tomorrow. May pupuntahan tayo." I said. She looked at me in disbelief.

Ayaw niya ba akong makasama? "Ha? W-where would that be?" Utal niyang tanong.

Baby, you are coming with me and you will be meeting my whole family. "Mommy's celebrating her 48th birthday tomorrow. Wear your best dress."

Sasagot sana siya kaso napatingin siya sa sahig. She approached my table, I was hoping she will kiss me or touch me but ginawa niya lang iyon para kunin ang ruler sa organizer ko.

She fished something on the floor. Akala ko kung ano, but she turned crimson red and I realized what it was. Yung panty ni Jinky. Maybe if she gets a tad jealous, papayag na siyang maging date ko sa birthday ni mommy.

"I guess she left it behind." Sambit ko, I was hoping she'll go berserk and ask me kung kanino iyon then we'll have a long discussion before I lure her into agreeing with me. But instead iba ang reaksyon na nakuha ko.

"I have important matters to attend to tomorrow. If you're looking for someone to go with you. Ask the one who owns that underwear. I need to go."

She said before she exited my office. I was left open mouth. Nilayasan niya ako. She didn't even bother to hear my explanation. She just left.
