Here's an update for HH's birthday! Sorry it's a little late, but hey, an update's an update! Enjoy!

You woke up at two in the morning to begin your plan. You went to the store really quick and purchased all kinds of decorations, then you decorated your entire house. Balloons and streamers were everywhere. Once you were pleased with that, you started to bake a cake. It took about two hours for you to bake the cake, let it cool, dirty ice it, then actually decorate it. Next, you picked up your phone and started calling a list of people. They all confirmed that they would be coming, so you giddily hopped around the house and cleaned it, while also trying to stay as silent as you could. Hunter was sleeping in the other room, and you didn't want to wake him before his big surprise party.

After cleaning the entire house, it was seven in the morning, so you decided to fix some breakfast. Pancakes.

While you poured the pancake mix onto the pan, you heard movement coming from the other room. Alarmed, you jump up and race to the door and try to act casual as you slip back into bed.

You watch your husband's face as he stirs in his sleep before his eyes slowly open. He smiles.

"Hey," he whispers. You smile and whisper back, "Happy birthday."

His face scrunches up a little, making you laugh. "It's not my birthday," he stated, his forehead wrinkled. You laugh and push his chest lightly. "Yes, it is. You're birthday's the ninth, and today's the ninth."

He breathes in and out a few times before shifting so he faces the ceiling. His eyes train on the overhead fan. "You're kidding, right?"

"No, silly! It's your birthday! So come on, I made pancakes! OH SHOOT! THE PANCAKES!" you shout suddenly, remembering you left them on the pan. Just then, the fire alarm starts to beep. Hunter's up immediately, and he runs up with you to the kitchen. As soon as you ste foot inside, you see the burnt pancakes on the pan and the small fire. You almost laugh that that triggered the fire alarm.

Hunter starts to laugh, too, as you turn the stove top off and he puts the fire out easily. As you finish, you feel his arms wrap around your waist from behind. You smile and lean your head back on his chest. "Well that was scary," he says sarcastically. You giggle and nudge him with your elbow. "Sorry for starting your birthday off by scaring you with my pyromatic ways."

You step away from him so you can turn to see his smirk. His eyes were trained on yours for a while before they started to wander around the house. A smile blossomed on your lips as you saw him do the same.

"Do you like it?" you ask, biting your lip, anticipating his answer. He hugs you and kisses the top of our head.

"Love it."

Sorry, I know this actually stinks really bad, but I'm really tired and I can't really see straight and my brain doesn't want to form real words right now. I know what you're thinking, "It's Hunter's birthday! Shouldn't you have a special, awesome update for us???" The answer is simply no. No because I forgot that I needed to update, and no because I have a life, and no because I want to sleep. Mostly because I want to sleep. Thanks for reading anyways! Love you all, and remember you're not invisible!
