Why did he say that? I am worthless! No one likes me! And why did he say I meant the world to him? Why did he swear on the river Styx to help me? I don't need help!

Thoughts were swirling through my head, but the one that overpowered the rest was I have to get out of here. I have to shadow travel. I knew I was weak but I need to get somewhere else. I started getting out of bed, when I heard Will coming.
"Yeah hold on let me just check on Nico, okay?" He was right down the hall. I had to hurry. I closed my eyes. I pictured my cabin. I hadn't ever liked my cabin but I knew I was safe there if I locked the doors and windows. I looked at the shadowy wall across from me.
I started to run when I heard will.
"Nico?" Then he realized what I was gonna do. "Nico! You are not aloud to leave!"
He paused, seeing if I would go back to bed. I didn't. "Docters orders!" He added.
I groaned. Is he going to overuse 'doctors orders' in the future? I hoped not.
Will grinned like he was proud of himself.
"Fine." I grumbled.
He did a victory dance.
I must have looked at him weird because he said, "What?"
"Oh it's nothing..." I said, still frowning.
"Nope, you have to tell me. Doctors orders!"
Yep. He's gonna overuse that.
"Oh...its just...I thought children of Apollo were good at dancing."
"Ha ha...wait, what?! Did you just make a JOKE?!"
"Whatever." I said.
"No you don't understand this is a monumental event! We will remember this moment forever!" He joked.
I grinned, just a tiny bit.
"AND DID YOU JUST SMILE?!?"
"No."
"Yes you did! I saw it!"
"I don't know what your talking about."
"You did! You smiled at one of my jokes!"
"You have no proof."
"Hmmmmmmmmm...or do I?"
Now I freaked out. Was there a camera in here?
"Where!?!"
"Oooooooh it's just the security camera."
"Wait.....there isn't a security camera in here!"
I smiled, proud that I figured it out.
"Ha!"
"What?"
He held up a bright yellow camera.
"Now I have proof!"
"Will. Give me the camera."
"Nope. I'm keeping this forever."
"Will! I need to delete that!"
"No! It's mine!"
"Are you going to show it to anybody?"
"Yep. Everyone."
"No! Will don't!"
I must have looked extra horrified because he said "Fine."
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise." Will said

The next morning when I woke up Will was already up, and giving me a checkup.
"Oh! Your awake!" He had a mischievous grin on his face.
"What did you do?"
"I haven't done it...yet"
"Will!"
"Well I need you to be healthy!"
"Is it dangerous?"
"What isn't dangerous for a demigod?"
"True."
"So do you feel up for it?"
"Okay."

"Don't run me into anything!"
Will was practically dragging me through camp at top speed. While I had a blindfold on. He already ran me into two walls and a tree, but I could tell they were on accident, so I let it go. Then suddenly we stopped and I slammed into will
"Sorry," he said, "Okay stay here. I forgot something."
I groaned.
"Can I take off my blindfold at least?"
"Nope," he called from a couple meters away, "I'll be right back"
I sat down.
A few minutes later I heard footsteps behind me.
"Hi Will."
"Oh, I'm not Will" Cameron.
I gasped. I tried to take off the blindfold so I could run but I couldn't untie the knot. Why did he tie this so tight!?
"The creep can't even take off a stupid blindfold!"
"It's cause he's an idiot!" Said Julius.
"And hopeless." Cameron replied.
"And a waste of life!"
"Are you saying he even has a life? He has no friends...girlfriends...family."
That's when I got mad.
"And YOU have no brain, respect, or dignity. In fact I don't think you even understand what I'm saying right now!"
"Don't listen to him. He's just upset that he's worthless"
"And weird!"
"And alone."
"AND AMAZING!"
Will! He's back!
"AND HE ISN'T ALONE AND I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEND REYNA HERE TO TELL YA SO!"
Will came over and untied my blindfold.
I looked at Cameron and Julius' worried faces. I almost laughed. Reyna is dedicated to her 'job' that she made up. She calls it the Nico Defense Squad...the seven and Will are in it, too. Now is the first time I was grateful for it.
Julius and Cameron sprinted away.
"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have left!" Will scolded himself.
"No, Will, it isn't your fault!"
"But if I would have remembered it..."
"Wait...didn't you have a surprise for me?" I asked.
"So you still want to do it?" He looked hopefully.
"Of course I do!" I exclaimed.
He smiled so bright it almost blinded me.
