"Of course I do!" Nico said.
I couldn't believe it! How does he do this? He not only put up with bullies but HE stood up to them!!! And he still feels good enough to do something with me? I just can't believe it!
I set a little hot air balloon knickknack on the ground, but didn't let go of it yet.
"Ready?" I asked.
"I guess." He was pretending to act bored but I saw it in his eyes that he was excited. I grinned.
"Three.....two....one!" I said as I let go of the knick knack.
I sprinted to where Nico was. His eyes widened as the hot air balloon got bigger and bigger.until it was the size of a normal hot air balloon.
"Do you like it?"
"I love it! I've always wanted to do this!" He squealed.
"Your cute when your excited."
"No I'm not." He growled.
"Yes you are, Sunshine! Whether you like it or not!"
"I am the Ghost King!"
"Aaaaaaw!"
"Stop it!"
"So adorable!"
"I am death!"
"Then death must be really cute."
"Ugh."
I grinned.
"Are you ready to go for a ride?" I asked.
"I thought you'd never ask!" He said.
I helped him into the balloon and then came in myself and shut the door. I made sure I locked it because I couldn't let Nico get hurt anymore today! Also, falling out of a hot air balloon wouldn't be a good thing for our friendship. Especially if it was my fault. I can't have anymore guilt, either because Nico has already forgave me for too many things...I can't have the guilt of one more. He would hate me.
"Ummm how do we drive this?" Nico asked
"Leo said it drove itself."
"Okay."
As we went higher into the air Nico and I just enjoyed the silence and peace.

"Hey Will?"
"Yeah?"
"Why do you care so much about me?"
"Because your Nico! Your amazing and kind hearted and so, so, so brave and Nico? Don't even listen to Cameron or Julius. Their morons."
Nico laughed.
"You'd have a pretty voice I bet." I hinted.
"Don't. Even. Think. About It. Solace." He said, but he grinned so I knew I was right about his voice.
"I could show you a glimpse of mine."
"Okay. Ladies and gentle men get ready for the son of Apollo singing..."
"TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE START!" I finished
"What?"
"I'm gonna sing twinkle twinkle little start."
"Ummm...Will,it's twinkle twinkle little star."
"No, I am sure it is twinkle twinkle little start."
"Okay then...go ahead and sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Start' I guess." He had a mischievous grin on his face. I was suspicious but I didn't say anything.
"Twinkle twinkle, little start,
How I wonder what you are,
Up above the sky so high,
Like a diamond in the sky,
twinkle twinkle, little start,
How I wonder what you are!
Thank you, thank you" I sang.
"Will, you better be good at archery."
"Now it's your turn!"
"Nope. I'm not singing."
"Oh come on! I sang!"
"Oh yeah." he held up my sunshine camera that my dad gave to me."You sang a lot!"
"You recorded it?!"
"Yep and if you make me sing I'm gonna show everyone."
"You little trickster!"
"And also you don't get this camera back until the end of the day."
"Ugh. Fine."
"And Will? You can't use doctors orders either."
"Nico! You ruining my evil plans!" I whined.
Nico attempted an evil laugh but just ended up coughing.
We stayed in the balloon all day, away from Cameron, away from Julius, and away from all the pain.

We ended up looking at the clouds. He saw a lot of clouds that look like suns and I saw some that looked like happy skeletons. The skeletons weren't creepy though, as most people would think. They were nice, happy, and peaceful. Nico said the suns made him happy. I said the same thing about the skeletons.
When we got bored of that we looked at everything below us.
"Hey Nico? Do you wanna play I Spy?"
"I love I Spy!"
"Okay, I'll go first. I see something orange."I said.
"That's not fair! Everyone in camp half blood is wearing orange! I'd have to guess every single person!"
"Then you better start guessing!" I laughed, knowing I made it hard.
"Hmmmmmm....Annabeth?"
"How did you know?!? There are tons of people down there and you picked right!?!" I said.
He just smiled.
"My turn!"
I grumbled about him cheating.
"I see something amazing."
"The view?"
"Nope."
"You?"
"Wrong again. But I am pretty amazing aren't I?" He joked.
"Reyna's combat skills?"
He shook his head.
"Your I Spy skills?"
"Your not very good at this are you?"
"That's it. I give up."
"It's you, Will!"
I smiled at him.
"Thank you so much Nico."
"I won!"
"What?"
"I spy! I won two out of three!"
"Hmmm...how about 3 out of 5?"
And we went on for the rest of the night.

As we started to get tired Nico rested his head on me and I did the same to him.
"Nico?"
"Yeah Will?" He yawned. His yawns were like little kitten yawns! How cute!
"I love you."
"And you know what?" He yawned again."I think I love you too, Will."
