Chapter V: MONDAY? YASSS!

Diana's POV

Ugh! I always dreaded Mondays like this. Gigising nanaman ng maaga. Just hope my detention streak breaks today. But first, let me check my phone's Facebook.

No. Another post from my school, BattleBusted Highschool.

(P.S. What? Their school name? Hey, I ran out of ideas.)

Sa mga estudyante namin dito, we saw on the news that there will be incoming heavy rains, kaya walang pasok simula Monday hanggang Wednesday, that's final!

OMG yesssss! Yay! No school for three days! No school for three days! No school for three days. This is another awesome moment of my life.

Mom then shouted from downstairs, right on cue.

"Diana, nabasa ko na wala kayong pasok ngayon dahil sa post ng school nyo. I'll be somewhere for the whole day, and I'll be home at 10pm tonight." Then, I heard our front door close.

My life is suddenly shifting from bad to good. First, it was all detentions in highschool. After that, I forgot about my seminar at the orphanage.

Then, the good things came. I got a new phone, I got 3 more extra "vacay days", and now I got the whole house to myself today, well, at least until 10pm tonight.

I suddenly went lightning-fast around the house. I called my friends on the phone and said we can have a party.

Then, I decorated the house.

Then, gumawa ako ng pagkain.

Tapos, naghanda ako ng mga board games at DVDs na gagamitin at papanoorin namin. Then, when I finished at the last moment, I heard a ton of knocks at our door. It was my friends: Adrianne, Katie, Athena, Annye, Alexia, and Lisa.

It looks like my friends are all hyped for this party. Mukhang ready na rin ako. Sa isip ko pa lang ay maganda na ang itsura ng party namin. Let's get this started!

We played tons of games, kumain ng maraming pagkain, at nanood ng sobrang daming mga movies at DVDs.

Jerry's POV

What to do? What to do? What to do today?

My phone, no. It's charging.
Lego, nu-uh. I lost the blocks when I was young.
Toys, nope. Too childish.
Drawing, SURE!

I've got tons of ideas: self-portraits, 3D paintings, optical illusions. The possibilities are endless, and so is my imagination when it comes to drawing. Gusto ko nang magsimula ngayon! Ngayon na!

I know. I'll write a poem instead! I'll make a poem about animals.

ANIMALS

Animals are here and there
They travel by land, by sea, by air
They have feathers, fur, or hair
To their own species they love and care.

Dogs are very sweet at first sight
But not until they start to bite
So be brave and use a lot of might
To make him tame and asleep at night.

Cats love to meow and purr
He has a skin that's made of fur
She may hold lice or dust or bur
It's an awesome pet for all pet lovers.

Ang ganda ng poem ko. Sobrang saya pala gumawa ng tula. I'll try and make a compilation of poems.

PAGDAAN NG SAMPUNG MINUTO...

Good thing I have a drawer and lots of folders. I can do it like an office-styled filing of my poems. Here are all my poems' titles in alphabetical order:

ANIMALS
ATOMS
AUTUMN
EARTH
GAMING
HUMANS
PLANTS
SNOW

Just the titles are already good to read and say. What more pa kaya kung yun totoong poems na yun babasahin? It would be EXTREMELY NICE to read poems, but even better if you make the poems yourself.

I'll put my whole time this day to making poems. After all, we don't have any school tomorrow. Bukas ko na lang sasabihin kay Diana na gumagawa na ako ng mga poems. I actually heard from Annye that they'll be having a 'girls-only' party.

Obviously, wala na siyang time ngayon sa saya niya siguro doon sa party. Everyone in our place knows how CRAY- CRAY she gets when she and her friends are having a party.

Diana's POV (in the middle of a chat)

"And he said, 'Oh, no you didn't.', and then I replied, 'Oh yes, you did. I know you. You've gone cray- cray, Mr.", Athena explained.

We laughed so hard.

HAHHAHA HAAHHAHA HAHHAHA HAHAHAHA HHAHHA HAAHH HAHAHAH HAHAHAHAA HAAHAH HAHAHAHAHA HHHAHAHAA.

Athena has the best private jokes. She's such an awesome friend to be with when it comes to parties. She doesn't look like she has paper or a dialogue, but she doesn't even look like she has any hidden items. So basically, yun mga jokes niya either: 1. She makes it up as she goes; 2. She makes its from scratch, or; 3. It was related to her own life.

"Nice jokes, BTW, Athena.", I said to her. After I spoke, everyone else agreed. Athena actually almost blushed.

We just continued on our party...

PAGDAAN NG TATLONG ORAS...

I haven't told anything else to the others as they asked permission to go home, one- by- one. But still, it was such a fun party. Good thing we actually finished early. At least, may oras pa akong maglinis ng bahay, kahit mag- isa lang akong mag- aayos.
I'll sing "Cold Water" while I'm at it...

*sings*
Everybody gets high, sometimes you know
What else can we do when we're feeling low?

I cleaned up just in time. A knocking was heard at the door.

"Diana, I'm home. I love that song!", I heard my mom exclaim from outside. I let her in and we both danced together...

*both of them sing*

I will still be patient with you...

This is the type of Monday I like. An awesome party Monday.
