I sat next to this kid during math. I'll admit I wasn't paying much attention, I was looking around for my soulmate. It was cold though and a lot of kids had jackets on. Now I feel stupid asking Raven if he cuts... I snuck a glance over at Raven. He was sketching in a book, his hair was falling over his face, his face was so focused. He looked really cute.

Wait, I'm not gay though, right?

Raven, then, jumped back and shut the book quickly. Now I was curious. "Hey," I whispered, "can I look through your sketchbook?" He quickly shook his head 'no' so I didn't ask anymore. Soon class was over and I ran to English class, until Thena stopped me.

"Hey, bro!!" I noticed that today she was wearing a pure black t-shirt and graffitied jeans.

"Hey!" I smiled widely.

"You looked so deep in thought. Whats up?"

"Well, you know the soulmate thing? The inky soulmate thing?"

"The what? I honestly have no idea what you're talking about."

I rolled my eyes, "okay when you draw on yourself, it appears on another person, same thing in the same place. Like if I drew a flower on my arm it would show up on my mystery person."

"Well, wouldn't that make it easier to find them, like ask who they are and such?"

I shook my head no, "you could do that but it doesn't work for me. Mine is secretive. I found notes from my first period on my hand and I asked but they wouldn't tell me who they were..."

"...wow I'm suprised, no one ever told me about this. How can I know you're telling the truth?"

I sighed, realizing that class was starting soon, "come over after school. My parents will show you."

"Okay!! Well we better get to class!" She hugged me quickly and ran off. I barely made it to class, sliding into my seat just as the bell rang. When Proffessor Lupin, started talking I got out my markers and doodled on my arm, I noticed some words forming on my upper arm and stopped to watch them.

So, you met someone cute, why don't you tell me more about him? I didn't know you were into guys.

Mystery Person.

I started writting, I don't think I should, I mean I can't dwell on him. He is not my forever. No more writting appeared on my arm. Maybe I screwed up a bit.

I waited outside for Thena. It was kinda cold though, I saw Raven walk out with Blade. I couldn't help but wonder if those were their real names. Raven is a little more believable than Blade. I walked over and they both stopped, I noticed Blade giving Raven some wierd looks. "Hey guys, so, Raven why did Scott keep you after class?"

"Oh-" he stopped and blushed, "I got something majorly wrong on my homework, he wanted to make sure I'm ready for the test..."

Must get embarassed easily on this subject, who am I kidding math is my worst subject. "Yeah, knowing my luck, I'll fail, I suck at math," I laughed.

He looked into my eyes as if searching for something. As those brown eyes searched mine, I searched back. What are you hiding? He quickly looked away. "So, guys, this got awkward. Um, where are you from Adrian?" Blade had gotten tired of the silence.

"Um, just a state over, Washington."

"Oh, how are you enjoying good ol' Oregon?"
