Akala ko tayo na

Yun pala ay puro lang akala.

Naramdaman kong ako ay mahal mo

O sadyang feeling ko lang ito?

 

Pwede bang iyong sabihin

Kung anong tingin mo sa'kin?

 

Mahal mo ba ako?

O sadyang ako'y nagpapakatanga sa'yo?

 

Ako'y litong-lito

please naman oh

 

Ako'y mahal mo ba?

O sadyang tuluyang, kakalimutan na kita?

Karamihang sabi ng iba kapag mahal mo ang isang tao, ipaglalaban mo ito. Mahal mo nga raw, di ba?

BUT... what's the sense of fighting,  kung ikaw mismo hindi alam ang estado ng relasyon niyo?

I get it, oo na, masaya kang kasama siya, masaya siyang kasama ka. That's it? Pero wala naman siyang sinabi na may damdamin siya para sa'yo...

Kahit simpleng “gusto kita” wala. Eh “mahal kita” pa kaya? Masakit di ba? Pero that's reality.

Ngunit sadyang manhid yata ang puso mo, patuloy pa ring tumitibok para sa iisang tao.

Nakakalito na di ba? Saan ka lulugar? Pwede ka bang mag selos? Pwede ka bang magalit kapag may kasama siyang iba, laughing together?...

Parang hindi yata. Wala kang karapatan eh. Kasi hindi kayo.

 Wala yung salitang “commitment”.

Parang one-sided lang...pero para namang hindi, parang may konting hope.

Ika nga nila, you will hold on to that 1% out of 100% chance.

So ano nga, ititigil mo ba ang tingin mong kahibangan? O ipagpatuloy dahil ikaw ay nag hihintay na baka sa huling pahina ng inyong Love Story, MEANT TO BE pala kayo?"

"....and they lived happily ever after." I said it loudly and I sigh. How come books usually end that way, happily ever after?

Is there such thing? I visuallize my family, well, we have a complete family. Yes complete. I have a mom, a dad and a brother. BUT, a happy family? I sadly shake my head absently.

My parents are very busy, with business and all, as always. I know they're doing that for our future, pero we have more than what we needed. I sigh again.

"Ana..." tawag ni Yaya Loring. I looked at her, she's old but she loves me like a mother loves her child.  "Anak, matulog ka na. Maaga ka pa bukas para sa first day mo sa kolehiyo." patuloy nito.

I smile at her. She's the one who's always there for me, when I needed my parents, and I'm glad I still have someone after my brother go to States. "Yes, yaya." Tumayo ako at niyakap siya "Good night po, yaya"

As I go to my bedroom, the night is so cold, breezing and as I lay down to bed, I fell asleep.
