Ch 2 Beating Chazz Again

Jaden then awoke the next day and was ready to get his way to Duel Academy island. Yubel awoke from her slumber as Jaden was getting dressed. She blushed at the looks Jaden had and admired every part of his body. Jaden then said "enjoying what you see are you still remembering things from the past?" Yubel broke out of her trans and reverted back into Jaden's soul. Jaden said "don't worry Yubel I will always keep you close to me after all we are one bonded together and I will win every duel that we face after all we are and were the best at DA.

The plane rider didn't take very long but Syrus was panicking and saying that the plane was going to crash. Jaden then decided to do something that would calm down the little guy. Jaden gave his a plush figuring of the Dark Magician Girl. This made Syrus a very happy camper and made him forget about the plane ride. They arrived at Duel Academy and were welcomed by the principal Sheppard and he knew that he was interested in himself. They then heard the speech that Sheppard gave and they were impressed by his speech.

Jaden then ran into Bastion. Jaden said "hey Bastion. I take it you are not in the red dorm." Bastion said "how did you know?" Jaden said "the color of your jacket and your buttons there all yellow so I assumed that you are in Ra yellow." Bastion was stunned by how Jaden was able to process that so quickly. Then Jaden and Syrus went to their dorm that would be Jaden's home for three years. Syrus was bummed out but then Jaden said that this place would be a good start to the year after all Jaden knew that Syrus would be a great duelist once he got his confidence up.

They then ran into Chumley who explained the color or the ranking as the most important thing about the school. Jaden didn't care but said that he would prove to be the best at the academy as long as he had his friends by his side. He then took Syrus around the campus and was telling him that he was going to be fine. Syrus was convinced that he didn't belong here. Jaden told him that the only thing holding Syrus from greatness was himself and that if he truly wanted to be great that he needed to be himself and not a scared kid anymore.

They then arrived at the main arena and Jaden said that they should duel here. Then two Obelisk blue boys appeared and told them that this place was for the blue dorm. Jaden then said he would duel one of them or a tag duel with Syrus. Then the boys recognized that Jaden was the one that beat Crowler and they called Chazz over to talk to him. Jaden was then told to show some respect to Chazz he was the best at prep school and that he was going to dethrone Yugi as king of games.

Jaden said "not possible. As I am going to take that tittle after all I will duel him as soon as I graduate." All three of the boys laughed at this and said that a Slifer slacker like him could and wouldn't last a minute in the arena against the king or Chazz. Jaden said "you want to throw down then fine once I beat you maybe then you will learn to respect others even by their rank." Yubel then appeared and was angry that Chazz was trying to butter him up.

Then another voice said "well isn't this an odd gathering." Chazz said "Alexis, you come here to see me mop the floor with my new friend. It will be a short duel but non the less entertaining." Jaden was then filled with rage and his eyes turned teal and orange and then Yubel appeared and wanted to put Chazz in his place but she knew that Jaden would allow that to happen so she didn't do anything but look as Alexis. Alexis then made eye contact with Yubel and Yubel then reverted back into Jaden.

Alexis said "I came here to tell you that the Obelisk dinner is about to start and you three are late." Then the boys walked away and Alexis was left with the two Slifers and she apologized for Chazz rubbing him the wrong way. Jaden said "it is fine I could have beaten him in a duel anyway and I will prove it next time but we have to go as well. What was your name again?" Alexis said "Alexis, Alexis Rhodes and you are?" Jaden said "Jaden, Jaden Yuki. See you later Alexis." Alexis said to herself 'that spirit is scary and she seems to be protective of Jaden. This is going to be an interesting year.'

As the night grew the boys went to bed but before they dowsed off Jaden got a massage from Chazz saying that he wanted to duel him at midnight and that if he won he would get his rarest card. Jaden and Syrus went to the arena and saw that Chazz was waiting for him and his friends from earlier. Jaden then started his duel disk and so did Chazz. Chazz said "lets make this quick I want to get my hands on that Neos so that I can add it to my collection." 

Jaden was angry but then Alexis showed up and was going to watch and see what happened. Chazz said "my turn, I draw. I summon Reborn Zombie in defense mode (1600def). I end my turn with a face down." Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play Dark Fusion to fuse Elemental Heroes burstinatrix and Avian to form Evil Hero Inferno Wing in attack mode (2100atk) Now I summon Evil Hero Infernal Gainer in attack mode then I use his effect to remove him from play for two turns and my Inferno Wing attacks you twice this turn."

Chazz said "I play my face down Chthonian Polymer by sacrificing my monster I get to gain control of your fusion monster." Jaden laughed and said "due to the effect of Dark Fusion my monster is not effected by spells or traps this turn. Now attack him directly. Now attack him again." Then Chazz said "did you hear that teachers are coming let get out of here." Alexis them led Jaden and Syrus out of the arena and out of the school. Jaden said thanks and that he was great full to her. Then Winged Kuribioh appeared and he patted him on the head. Alexis noticed this and thought that maybe Jaden was good after all because he was treating his spirits well and she watched as they left and she knew that Jaden could help her find her brother.
