Ch 17 Vampire Hunt Part 1

The next day Jaden and Atticus were in the hospital and Alexis had to men in her life that she loved but she couldn't admit just yet but she was in love with Jaden. She wanted say that she loved him but she was afraid that the answer would be no or I don't love you. Then she dreamed of the perfect day having her brother back and Jaden would ask her to be her boyfriend but then she awoke. She started to cry because this perfect dream of hers would in her mind never become a reality. She then looked at Atticus and smiled that she still had her big bro.

Meanwhile in a coffin on a boat a creature of pure darkness was awoken. She then send her loyal bats to do her bidding. They collected information and was surprised when she saw Zane and wanted him to become her husband. Then she saw Alexis watching over Jaden and she said "if I have to duel that boy I know which person to sacrifice to the beasts. Then she took a closer look at Jaden and she sensed a great darkness inside him. She was intrigued by this but her first opponent would be Zane but she knew that Crowler wouldn't allow it.

Jaden awoke and Alexis was sitting next to him and she was so happy that Jaden had awoken but the problem still remained that Atticus had not awoken. Jaden was happy to see a smile return to her face after all Jaden had hurt her the most in the past but he made a promise that he would make her the happiest girl alive and he would never leave her side. putting that aside he got up much to Alexis' dismay. She said that he needed more rest but Jaden told her he would be fine as long as she was with him nothing could defeat him.

Then the gang came in and Chumley was saying that he saw a vampire near the lake. Jaden said that he would sit this out until the time was right. Alexis smiled even brighter then before for her friend was taking it easy till he got his strength back. Jaden already had all of his strength back but he wanted to see Camula duel and maybe frighten her with Yubel. Jaden, Alexis, Chumley, Syrus, Zane, Bastion, Chazz, Banner, and Crowler went to the lake at midnight.

Then as they looked around Jaden saw the red carpet but he knew it was all for show. Then the vampire appeared and she wanted to duel Zane. Chazz said that maybe Zane was her type. Camula then looked at Jaden and he was behind everyone and he summoned Yubel and Camula gasped. Camula then said "you, you are the king." Jaden said "so what if I am, I'm still going to take you down but I will let my teach got first. Crowler get your game on." Crowler freaked out but Camula accepted the challenge and there was no going back for Crowler.

Camula draws "Zombie Werewolf" and subsequently Normal Summons it (1200/1200) in Attack Position. She then Sets a card. Crowler draws. He then activates "Ancient Gear Castle". Now all "Ancient Gear" monsters will gain 300 ATK while "Ancient Gear Castle" will gain 1 Counter whenever Crowler Normal Summons or Sets a monster. If Crowler Tribute Summons a monster he can substitute "Ancient Gear Castle" for a Tribute(s) if the number of counters on "Ancient Gear Castle" is greater than or equal to the number of Tributes required. He then Normal Summons "Ancient Gear Soldier" (1300 → 1600/1300) in Attack Position. Due to this card's effect, Camula is forbidden from activating any Spells or Traps when it attacks until the end of the Damage Step. "Ancient Gear Castle" gains one Counter due to its effect.

"Ancient Gear Soldier" attacks and destroys "Zombie Werewolf" (Camula 4000 → 3600). Since "Zombie Werewolf" was destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, its effect activates, allowing Camula to Special Summon another "Zombie Werewolf" from her Deck in Attack Position (1200/1200) and increase its ATK by 500 (newly summoned "Zombie Werewolf": 1200 → 1700/1200). Crowler Sets a card.

Camula draws. She then Normal Summons "Vampire Bat" (800/1200) in Attack Position. Due to this card's effect, all Zombie-Type monsters that Camula controls will gain 200 ATK while "Vampire Bat" is on the field ("Vampire Bat": 800 → 1000/800; "Zombie Werewolf": 1700 → 1900/1200). "Zombie Werewolf" attacks and destroys "Ancient Gear Soldier" (Crowler 4000 → 3700). "Vampire Bat" attacks directly (Crowler 3700 → 2700). Crowler then activates his face-down "Damage Condenser" to Special Summon another "Ancient Gear Soldier" (1300 → 1600/1300) in Attack Position (as its ATK is equal or less than the combined Battle Damage Crowler took this turn).

Crowler draws "Heavy Storm". He then Tributes "Ancient Gear Soldier" in order to Tribute Summon "Ancient Gear Beast" (2000 → 2300/2000) in Attack Position. "Ancient Gear Castle" then gains one Counter, giving it a total of two. "Ancient Gear Beast" attacks and destroys "Zombie Werewolf" (Camula 3600 → 3200). Due to the effect of "Ancient Gear Beast", the effects of "Zombie Werewolf" are negated when "Ancient Gear Beast" destroys it in battle, so Camula cannot Special Summon her third "Zombie Werewolf" from her Deck.

Camula draws "Infernalvania" and subsequently activates it. Now during each player's Main Phase, that player can discard a Zombie-Type monster from their hand to destroy all monsters on the field, but that player will be forbidden from doing a Normal Summon or Set this turn. Camula then activates the effect of "Infernalvania" to discard "Vampire Lord" and destroy all monsters on the field. Camula then activates the second effect of "Vampire Bat" to send another "Vampire Bat" from her Deck to the Graveyard and prevent "Vampire Bat" from being destroyed. "Vampire Bat" attacks directly (Crowler 2700 → 1700).

Crowler draws "Ancient Gear Golem" and subsequently Normal Summons it (3000/3000) in Attack Position by Tributing "Ancient Gear Castle". "Ancient Gear Golem" then attacks "Vampire Bat", but Camula sends another copy of "Vampire Bat" from her Deck to the Graveyard to prevent her "Vampire Bat" from being destroyed, however she still takes Battle Damage (Camula 3200 → 1200). Crowler then activates "Heavy Storm" to destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. Since "Zombie Bed" was destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while it was face-down on the field, its effect activates, allowing Camula to Special Summon "Zombie Werewolf" (1200 → 1400/1200) from her Deck in Attack Position.

Camula draws. She then activates "Book of Life" to Special Summon "Vampire Lord" from her Graveyard (2000 → 2200/1500) in Attack Position and remove from play "Ancient Gear Beast" from Crowler's Graveyard. Next Camula removes from play "Vampire Lord" in order to Special Summon "Vampire Genesis" (3000 → 3200/2100) in Attack Position. "Vampire Genesis" attacks and destroys "Ancient Gear Golem" (Crowler 1700 → 1500). "Zombie Werewolf" and "Vampire Bat" then attack directly (Crowler 1500 → 100 → 0).

Crowler turned into a doll and Chazz picked it up and pocketed the doll. Camula left but not before saying that Zane would be her next opponent. Jaden and Alexis returned to the nurses office. Before Jaden went to sleep Alexis asked a question that she had pondered for some time during the duel. Alexis said "Jaden why did Camula call you king?" Jaden didn't know what to say but Yubel appeared and said to him telepathically "Jaden let her know she will still accept you." Jaden said to Yubel "ok."

Jaden took a deep breathe and said "Alexis I have an alter ego named the Supreme King and he rules all worlds and he was the opposite of me. He was resonsable for so many deaths that I still can't live it down knowing that I destroyed lives all for to rule another dimension." Tears began to swell in his eyes and Alexis saw this and hugged him and said "this time I will be by your side and defend and help you from ever becoming the Supreme King ok." Jaden began to smile and they looked at each other and then blushed then they went to bed not knowing that they were being spied on by a bat.
