Ch 13 Fighting For a Friend

After about a few days Alexis was worried that Jaden had forgotten about their get together that he promised her. Jaden was wondering the same thing and it was eating him up. Then as class was ending Jaden ran after Alexis. Jaden said to Alexis "do you want to go on that picnic that we said we would do after the school duel." Alexis smiled and said "sure we can do it after school is done if that is ok with you?" Jaden said "perfect after all we have the same classes so after school meet me at the Slifer cliffs after I make us some food to enjoy okay." Alexis smiled and they went their separate ways.

After class Jaden raced to the dorm to make some food for the two of them when Syrus came in and asked what he was doing. Jaden said "I am making some food for me and a friend." Syrus said "would that friend be Alexis?" Jaden said "maybe, maybe not you will have to let you ponder the question." Syrus said "Jaden everyone in the school will hate you if you are dating Alexis, epically the guys." Jaden said "we are not dating it is just the two of us getting to know each other better okay." Syrus said "I hope you know what you are getting yourself into Jaden." Jaden said "don't sweat it Syrus I will be fine."

With that Jaden took the sandwiches and the dessert that would be revealed along with the drinks that he had made for Alexis. He got to the Slifer cliffs about ten minutes before Alexis was told to come to the cliffs. He prepared everything and was ready for what he considered a good meal with a close friend and definitely not a date. Alexis got up from doing school work and went to the Slifer cliffs. She saw Jaden in the distance and then a guy got in Alexis' way.

It was a jock that was a player and he wanted to get in her pants. Alexis gave him a look that said get out of my way or be destroyed. But he grabbed her and used chloroform to knock her out. But she let out a scream before she was knocked out. Jaden heard this and ran to the source of the screaming. He saw a man carrying Alexis' body and yelled "stop. Let Alexis go." The Jock said "never this girl belongs to me and I will not let a Slifer scum like you take her away from me."

Jaden said "if you want her you have to go through me. And I have a solution. If you can beat me in a duel then you can take Alexis but if I win she comes with me." The Jock said "your on and when she finds out that you lose then she will love me." Jaden said "get your game on." The Jock said "I'll beat you then Alexis will be mine." Jaden said "what is your name." The Jock said "Jack and you remember it as I defeat you."

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play Graceful Charity to draw three cards but I must discard two. Now I play monster Reborn to summon Elemental Hero Neos in attack mode (2500atk). Next I summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole in attack mode (900atk). I end my turn with one card face down." Jack said "starting off quickly and so can I. I play Double Summon now I can summon twice which I will summon Big Shield Gardna in defense mode (2600def). Next I play Cost Down to lower the level of all my cards in my hand by two stars but I must discard one card to do that. Now I summon Cyber-tech Alligator in attack mode (2500atk). Now I play Card of Sanctity to allow us to draw till we have six cards in our hands. I end my turn with two face downs your move."

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play the field spell known as Neo Space. Now my Neos gains 500 attack points. Next I summon Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab in attack mode (500atk). Now I join Neos and Flare Scarab together to form Elemental Hero Flare Neos in attack mode (2500atk)." Jack said "wait, how can you fuse monsters without Polymerization? But he returns to my fusion deck"

Jaden said "my Neos has the ability of contact fusion without a Polymerization. Now my monster gains 400 attack for each spell or trap on the field facedown or not so it gains 1200 attack points. Not to mention that my Neo Space also adds 500 points extra so my Neos gains 1700 attack points. Now I attack your Alligator. Next I have my Grand Mole attack your Big Shield Gardna." Jack laughed and said "your monster is to weak." Jaden said "I use my monsters effect to send both our monsters back to our hands."

So Jaden ended his turn and was happy that he had summoned his one of his best cards. Jack said "how is it that your monster is still on the field. It is suppose to return to the extra deck at the end of your turn?" Jaden said "because of Neo Space it can remain on the field." Jack said "my turn, I draw. I play my face down Monster Reborn to bring back my Alligator in attack mode (2500atk). Now I play my other face down Polymerization to fuse my Meteor Dragon and King of the Swamp to form Meteor Black Dragon in attack mode (3500atk). Now I attack your Neos. Now my Gator attacks you directly. I end my turn."

Jaden said "my turn, I draw I play my own Polymerization to fuse Elemental Heroes Avian and Burstinatrix to form Elemental Hero Flame Wingman. Now I play my final card, the field spell Skyscraper. Now attack his Alligator. Now my monsters attack goes to 3100. Now attack. You lose 2500 life points." Jack said "no how could I lose to a slim ball like you." Jaden said "I won so Alexis comes with me." Jack said "well I am a man of my word take her." Jaden took Alexis back to her dorm and went into the dorm. The girls said to turn him in but Alexis in his arms showed that he had a good reason. So he took her to her room and left a note telling them what had happened. He decided to give Alexis a kiss on the forehead and he left. He said to himself that he would make another get together another time.
