Chapter 14-Process-

-Next Morning Sunday-
-Tohru's POV-

Af I look back on yesterday, nothing really happened after we watched the sun set.

We looked at the stars for a while, enjoying the peace.

Then we went home, we would've gotten lost if it wasn't for Kyo and Yuki's off the chart senses.

I walked into bathroom and brushed my teeth as I do everyday.

I heard a knock at the door.

"Yes?"

"Never mind I can use the other bathroom," I heard Kyo say from behind the door.

"No, I'm just brushing my teeth," I replied after asking the tooth brush out of my mouth.

I rinsed my mouth with the cool water and walked out of  the bathroom.

I didn't see Kyo when I walked out and I was kinda upset.

In one swift motion I was attacked with the sweet, warm, and familiar lips of Kyo.

"That was a great surprise attack," I said with a huge smile on my face.

"What's with the smile."

I didn't respond. I just kissed him, which I haven't went for the kiss first before and decided I needed to change that.

As I gently moved away, he was shocked that I kissed him instead of the other way around but soon shook it off.

"Your improving."

"Improving what?"

"Showing or telling people what you want."

"I don't if I should be happy or concerned."

"Happy. Always be happy Tohru. It looks better on you then frightened, sad or worried."

"Same to you."

"Well I need to go to the bathroom so I'll be right back."

He entered the bathroom and I couldn't help but giggle when he changed the topic.

"I don't like asking for things and he doesn't like being complimented."

I ran downstairs and started breakfast.

Kyo came down shortly after and helped set up the table.

"I haven't done laundry in a while... I'm going to after breakfast," mumbled while eating.

Kyo who was already done, stood up with a sneaky smile plastered on his face. He grabbed his dishes and rinsed them off in the sink.

"He's going to do the laundry isn't he."

I got up with my dish and ran to the kitchen. Did the same with my plate as Kyo did and ran into the room where we do laundry, and sure enough, there he was doing laundry.

-FlashBack-

I grabbed a basket and started doing those clothes.

After a few seconds I felt a bunch of fabric on my head, shoulders and at my feet.

I looked at Kyo and he had a huge smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back.

-End of FlashBack-

"Payback. I mean why not? It's just clothes. I hope he doesn't see it as rude."

I tiptoed to the basket and poured it on top of his head. A shirt even ended up covering his eyes. He was as stiff as a rock but before I noticed that I giggled.

He seemed to calm down right when he heard my giggle.

"Tohru."

"Yes?" I asked still giggling.

I saw the little smile creep onto his face from the side.

"I don't mind, but what was the reason for drowning me with clothes?"

"Umm- payback..." I replied quietly but I knew he heard it since his ears are especially good.

"Thought so."

"I- Eh?"

He turned around as mischievous smile creeped onto his face.

"U-um Kyo?"

"Yes?"

"Should I be worried about that smile?"

"Maybe."

I gulped.

"As punishment you have to come with me on a date."

I sighed in relief but decided to play along.

"Ugh do I have to?"

"Eh?"

He looked confused.

I couldn't help my giggles.

"I'm kidding. When?"

"I'll tell you when I know but no going back on it."

"Mhm."

I nodded happily.

I went on, doing the laundry.

(UGH I REALLY WANTED TO SAY THAT KYO PUT HIS ARMS AROUND TOHRU BUT I CANT!!!! FML!)

I knew Kyo was behind me.

When I was done with the laundry I turned around to see Kyo leaning on the door way waiting for me.

(I imagined him with a milk carton in hand 😹)

He held out his hand and I took it.
