Maya's driving.

It's been an three hours.

Four more hours to go.

You sigh as Maya bickers on the phone with Eliza, earning a glance full of "sorry"s from Maya.

Eliza had just called about 20 minutes ago and you have a slight idea of what they were arguing about, hearing
"I'm with Riley this weekend", and
"I can't go out".

You can't help but feel at fault for this, seeing as you were the one who complained about not spending time with Maya.

"Eliza, she's my best friend!" You hear her yell.

Maya looks over to you.

You force a smile.

She notices it's fake.

She shares back at the road when the red light turns green

"Eliza, we'll go on a date on Monday, okay." Maya tells the girl on the other side of the phone.

Soon after -- or an hour later -- Maya hangs up.

Three more hours to go.

"Sorry, Eliza can be a bit clingy..." Maya apologizes.

"It's fine." You assure.

You spent the next three hours talking about what you were gonna do and playing road games.

You notice a little trailer home neighborhood before the car slows down, parking into the grass.

"We're here."
