The Assistant- Jared Leto

I came in on Monday at 8 like he said and as i entered he did too and I spilled coffee all over him

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!'

"It's fine don't worry" he laughed

"Il go find something to clean it up"

As I went to go look for something to just clean up the mess on the wooden floors, I realized I wasn't able to get the stain off ever so I tried to find something for him to wear. I realized there was nothing around. I was getting back to the office and Jared was in the midst of taking off his shirt. I didn't want to go into the office and interrupt but my god I never noticed how cute he was. His body.. He turned around, and I acted as if I had seen absolutely nothing. As I walked in, I gave a disappointed expression I said "I couldn't find anything" "it's fine I have an extra one, I mean I live here right?" he said laughing

The day went by. I sat at my desk and he rejected many interviews because of the money they were paying "not enough" he said. It seemed a bit harsh, but I mean I don't know as much about whats to much and "not enough" I only had to tell him about it and respond to them with an answer.

The building was not that big, around 3 floors and they lived there. He stayed in his room a lot and he told me to let him know when an offer came around. The whole day I did not do much. it was around 8 at night and he came to the office where i was, and asked me

"You want something to eat? he asked carelessly as he was  walking through the door

i didn't really know whether to say yes or no because i mean i was his assistant, and having a friendship with him would be the normal thing to do I mean I'm going to be here everyday. I took long enough to answer and i said yes.

"alright come along then"

"where exactly"

"I don't know" He said in a sassy tone "my apartment below this floor, believe it or not"

We sat down on the couch and he ordered Chinese food. Ive never had it before but i heard it was good.

"are you okay with Chinese food"

"I've never really tried it"

"Are you even from this planet?" he laughed nervously

"why do you say that"

"I mean to begin with, you don't really know me and it kind of shocks me. Girls only come here to work for me because I'm "Jared leto" or they use me to get to Shannon"

he laughs as he roles his eyes to put the phone down.

But you, Your like not freaking out, I'm not going to lie to you, considering I'm used to that its bothering me a little"

"Oh well I'm sorry to hear that, it's just I mean i know who you are but I need a job and the last thing I need right now is to be crushing on someone i work for, you know?

He looked down in disappointment, as i noticed. I tried to change the subject to get off the topic that i didn't know who he was.

"So whens the food gonna be here?"

"soon he said around 5 minutes"

Then someone knocks on the door

I write everyday Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2 chapters a day if your lucky or I'm lucky haha. Enjoy and if so and i feel the need to il give a little extra chapter here and there if your eager to read more!
