Parang sirang-plaka na paulit-ulit iyon na ulo ko. Yes, I didn't buy dinner, I didn't got to get Celeste's clothes--I have been more than an hour away. Nandito lang ako, sa hallway, naghihintay sa resulta. Kumakalam ang sikmura ko pero wala na akong pakialam.

A doctor came out from the Emergency Room with her clip board and everything. Her eyes searched from the hallway. Walang ibang tao nandoon kung hindi ako lang. She gestured at me, smiling but her eyes told otherwise. "Miss... Venus Yevtushenko?"

"Yes." I answered. My voice is strained, too dry to even utter a single syllable.

"I'm Dra. Jalbuena," she introduced herself. "We were able to save him. We already operated his wounds," she said. I breathed out a sigh of relief. "But he lost too much blood. Naagapan naman namin 'yon kasi may stock kami. The only thing is he won't be conscious any time soon..."

Nanlumo ako sa sinabi niya. I knew the drill. I will be plating the waiting game. Hindi ko na siya pinakinggan. She told me some kind of scientific things that I can't even comprehend. Basta ang nalaman kong okay na si Kaspar, okay na rin ako. All I have to be worried about is Celeste's results.

"We'll be transferring him to a private room tomorrow Miss. Sa ngayon, inoobserbahan siya but rest assured he can be transferred tomorrow." She says.

Medyo lumuwag ang pakiramdam ko. As long as Kaspar is waking up, I have no problems with that. I heaved a deep sigh. "Thank you... so much." I almost said helplessly.

The doctor excused herself. Tumango lang ako bilang sagot. I stood at the door for about a minute thinking everything's going to.be alright. Gigising si Kaspar. Buhay siya. Hindi siya patay. Nobody's going to die. Kaspar is going to be fine. Pabalik-balik 'yon sa ulo ko na para ba'ng sirang plaka. I just need to make sure that I was able to dissolve every ounce of information I knew. Baka hindi ko pa matanggap, makapatay pa ako ng tao.

Kumalam muli ang sikmura ko. It served as a signal to stop my deep trance. I shrugged and turned my heel to leave. It's okay to leave now. May assurance naman ako na gigising si Kaspar. Iyon ang importante sa ngayon.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit bumalik ako sa floor ni Celeste. I know I said that I'll be getting her things pero parang hindi ko pa talaga kaya. Baka madisgrasya pa ako sa daan, dagdag problema lang. The elevator gave a little whirr going up. Tulala pa rin ako hanggang doon. The elevator ting-ed as soon as it reached the fifth floor. The door opened which revealed Marquis's flabbergasted face.

"Papunta sana ako para hanapin ka." He said. "Samantha called me and told me Celeste's hospitalized. At hindi ka pa nakabalik simula no'ng nagpaalam ka'ng lalabas. Sa'n ka ba nanggaling?"

I sighed. I do not want to give him an answer. I'm too exhausted, too hungry to even think something to formulate the answer. So I dodged the question aside. "Can you... bring us some food? Hindi pa 'ko nakakabili--"
