'' For the finale, I thought the audience deserved to get a close point of view on the monster, and to recognize him the way you recognize the heroes. ''

''Oh, thank god,'' Hayden breathed out from relief. The unbearable pain coursing through her abdomen had blood staining the hand that gripped onto the cut, no thanks to Sebastian Valet. ''You got my text.''

Lea smiled softly down at the brunette and sat beside her on the steps. ''Yeah. I got them.''

Her chest heaved when a puff of air escaped through her nose, a form of small and dry chuckle. ''Well, what are you waiting for? Aren't you going to help me?''

''I don't know,'' Lea tilts her head to the side, before looking down at Hayden. ''Where was my help when I needed it?''

Hayden furrows her brows at the girl. ''Again with this? I thought we we gotten through with this?''

Lea scrunched her lips to the side and shakes her head. ''You might have. But I didn't. And I never will.''

The brunette opened her mouth with another load of question prepared to burst when Lea swiped out her hunters knife that she laced with wolfs bane and struck the blade into the same cut that's been causing her the pain.

She was done talking.

Hayden gasp, the affects of the tapped blade kicking into her system, giving Lea the amount of satisfaction ah was looking for.

''You don't get it do you, Hayden?'' Lea laughs half heartedly. ''I want revenge, and of all of this, is only the beginning of my delicate destruction.''

Lea spinner around, raising a foot just when she was about to face Hayden again, and forcefully kicked throughout the impact of her spin.

The kick was hard enough to slip her unconscious.

Lea smiled. ''Wake up, bestie.''

The brunette before her stirred around, a handful pounding against her head waking her up even more.

''We're gonna play a little game,'' Lea teased, a demeaning smirk tempting at her lips.

Hayden looked down and realized her body was hanging against the wall with only the help of a metal chain, wrapped from around her neck.

She grunts at the sight of rusty hooks, apart of the metal chains inserted in her hands and ankles. Her blood slowly dripping to the ground in an unrhythmic pattern.

''It's called Hangman. Only, instead of guessing the right letter, you're going to tell me the right answer. Truth and only the truth is told in this game. Tell a lie, and down goes a body part.''

Hayden listened intently for a skip of a heart beat to see if what she thought was her best friend had somewhat lied throughout her instructions. Not one skip.

''Can I ask just one question? Please,'' She grunts. The pain hit her hard and the unfaithful chimera powers weren't helping her heal.

Lea stood impatiently with Hernando on her hip. No matter what the girl said, it wouldn't be convincing to her case. Hayden was going to die either way and Lea was going to savour every last bit of it.
