Chapter 6 ~ Study Session Gone Wrong

~ Chapter 6 ~

"Nick, psst, Nick. Wake up." Said a soft, whispering voice poking my cheek.

I groaned. "Leave me alone Bekka."

"But I gotta tell you something really really important." She urged, still whispering.

"What?" I said.

"WE DON'T HAVE SCHOOL TODAY!!!" She hollard in my ear.

I screamed in panic and fell flat on the floor.

"I hate you." I said.

"I know you mean love!" Said Bekka happily.

"Oh no, I mean it. You suck." I muttered and got up.

"Well, that creepy boy, Dustin got your number and called you T-Phone."

I froze. "He what?!"

"Yeah, and he decided to change the 'study session' to this afternoon." She said sadly.

"No," I said. "No, no, no, no, no! He can't! He couldn't! He wouldn't!"

"Well, he did so get dressed already!" She teased.

I stuck my tounge out at her. "Fine but get out!" I shoved her out and slammed the door.

"That wasn't very nice!" Said Bekka's muffled voice.

I smiled and rolled my eyes. I put on some ripped jeans with a green tank top with a with see through fabric over it. I shoved on my muddy Nikes and put in my necklace.

I swung open the door and headed down the stairs.

Mikey was in the kitchen, Leo and Bekka were talking Donnie was in his Lab, and Raph was sitting on the couch with Bandit.

I walked over to Mikey.

"So, what's for breakfast, Rachel Ray?" I asked.

Mikey looked up from his cooking. "Is that offensive?"

I smirked. "Maybe. I called you a girl but that girl is very talented at cooking." I explained with a shrug.

Mikey seemed to forget what I even said. "For breakfast we are having omlets!" He said happily.

"Okay, thays all I wanted to hear." I said and walked over to Raph.

I snatched Bandit and held him in my arms. "So Greenie, whats up?" I asked.

Raph frowned and tried to grab Bandit back but I gigged and shoved him away.

"Not much, Peachie. Have you talking to your mom latly?" He said.

My eyes got wide. "No! Holy shell, I'm the worst daughter ever!" I said.

Raph smirked and grabbed Bandit when I wasn't looking. "Sucess!" He chanted.

"Yeah, cool." I muttered in a daze.

Raph chuckled. "I got ya all worried now, did't I?"

"Yes and now I'm and going to see my mom!" I told him and rushed upstairs to my mom's room.

"Mom?!" I called out.

"Yes, Nickolette?" She replied on her bed, reading a book with a salmon cover and with white Japanese blossoms on it.

I exhauled deeply. "Nothing, I just got so caught up in my problems...I-I forgot about you."

My mom smirked and shut the book and then walked to me. "Oh honey, its okay. Your life will be always complatcated no matter what. Its okay to forget I am here. I haven't been in your life a whole lot. And I am sorry what your born into." She said, wrapping me in a hug.
