Chapter 8 ~ Everything Goes Haywire

~ Chapter 8 ~

"Hurry up, Bekka! We're going to be late!" I said as I rushed around the Lair.

"I be able to work faster if you STOPPED BUGGING ME!" She snapped.

I ran past her and grabbed my T-Phone in case of an emergency. You can never be too safe when your a ninja living in the sewers with evil aleins and dad's after you.

"Are you ready YET?!" I asked again.

"Shut up! I...almost...GOT IT!" She said happily.

I sighed with relief. "Good, now lets get to Marnie's before she thinks we're a no show."

Bekka grabbed my hand and I transported us outside of Marnie's apartment building.

Bekka puffed out her cheeks. "Oh gosh Nick. This is not good for my stomach!" She said.

I rolled my eyes. "Well get use to it, bro. Its kind of our only fast transportation."

"Whatever, lets just go in."

I nodded. I pulled open the doors and the went to Marnie's floor.

I knocked twice on her door. It was kind of like my secret passcode for her.

The door swung open and Marnie crushed my in a hug. "I'm so glad you and Bekka could babysit tonight!" She said.

I nodded, mostly because I couldn't talk.

Marnie looked at Bekka. "You must be Bekka!"

Bekka braced herself but it was no use. Marnie smuggled her with a huge hug.

After she finally let go, she ussered us inside.

"The boys are pretty wild toninght so be careful. And Bekka, they might be a little shy at you at first because your new." She explained.

Bekka nodded her head respectfully. "Of course Mrs. Middleson."

"Oh, call me Marnie, hon."

"Er, okay."

I smiled. "Don't worry bro, the boys love me so if they tie you up, I can make them let you go." I whispered to her.

"I hope your joking." She muttered back.

"BOYS! NICK IS HERE!" Hollard Marnie.

"I'll leave you girls to it. Bye!" She said again and shut the door.

"Ninja Nicky! Ninja Nicky!" Chanted Trevor and Tyler as the plowed into me.

I smiled and I hugged them. "Nice to see you too!"

Trevor frowned. "Who'z that?" He asked, pointing at Bekka.

"This is my friend Bekka. She's also going to be watching you guys tonight."

"Is she a ninja?" Asked Tyler.

"Yes, I am." Replied Bekka.

"Then where is your ninja mask?!" Demanded Trevor.

I scowled. "Now, we aren't mean to other ninjas. She is in disgise!" I said.

Trevor and Tylers eyes widened. "She is in disgwize?! Cool!" They said at the same time.

Bekka smiled. "Yeah, and I accidently left my mask at home." She lied.

"Then whats your weapon?" Asked Tyler excitedly.

"I have a bow and arrows." Said Bekka proudly.

"I nevea knew dat was a weapon!" Said Trevor.

"It is and I am happy to use it!" Grinned Bekka.
