RWBY: The Adventures of the Wolverine

Team X Part 2

Team X were on their way to the mining compound. Logan could not stop thinking about what he did back at the Schnee Dust Company, but mostly about the white haired girl. John elbowed him and asked, "Hey, you thinking about that girl you saved?" Logan replied, "I don't think I saved her. It didn't look like she was grateful." John nodded, "I don't blame her. The girl is Weiss Schnee. She's an heiress of the Schnee Dust Company. The Schnee family have a rivalry with the White Fang, which if I have a chance, I wanna stay out of it." Victor taunted, "What? You're not scared of a few humans, are ya?" John retorted, "A 'few humans' that have the most powerful business empire not to mention they have a few military connections." Logan nodded in agreement with John. Victor sighed, "Did they change your name from 'Wolverine' to 'Chicken'?" "At least I'm smart enough to know who not to mess with," replied Logan. Half an hour later, the helicopter almost made it to the mining compound. Victor sniffed the air and teased, "You nervous? You smell nervous." Logan shot back, "Better than how you smell. That's for sure." Then the pilot reported through the intercom, "Drop zone coming up." Then a missile shot at the helicopter's rotators and it exploded. Logan was dazed but instantly recovered as he dove down while dodging a few missiles. He stretched out his claws as he landed on a soldier. Logan got up as he repositioned his arm and stretched out his bone claws as more soldiers surrounded him. He growled and attacked them. Logan finished as he walked to find his other teammates. He hoped they survived. It would take the entire team to pull this off. After killing one other soldier, he looks into the valley and sees black smoke. "That must be my chopper," guessed Logan. "I better see how Victor and the others are doing. Time to get to work." He then saw two soldiers nearby and lunged at one of them. "Leave while you're still breathing," warned Logan. The other soldier didn't listen as he and his fellow soldiers began blasting him. The bullets were doing no effect as Logan kept lunging and attacking them. After Logan was finished with the soldiers, an attack helicopter showed up. It began blasting him but Logan took cover. Then he came out of cover, leaped at the front of the helicopter, and latched on. Logan then climbed up, broke the windshield, grabbed the pilot by his throat, and decapitated the pilot with the rotary. Then he jumped back to the ledge as the unpiloted helicopter crashed down. Logan sprinted as he made it to an ancient bridge. A big gap was in between the bridge and a group of soldiers were on the other side of the gap. Then from behind him, a couple of soldiers were cutting the rope. With no time left, Logan lunged at the front soldier, used as a shield to push the soldiers out of the way, and latched on before the bridge aimlessly fell down. Logan climbed up as he made it to the side of the bridge he wanted to go. Logan kept going until he heard a loud roar. "What the hell was that?" asked Logan to himself. He then noticed a rope used for ziplines that led to a makeshift gate. Logan jumped on the rope as he held on zipped to the gate. Eventually Logan got off of the rope as he entered through the gate. He went through the gate as he kept going while killing a few soldiers on the way. Logan found a truck on top of a hill as he pushed it down and hopped onto the trunk. The truck rolled down the hill as it crashed through another gate killing two soldiers and Logan leaping off with claws stretched out. He killed two soldiers as he continued on and climbed on debris of an ancient temple. He stopped as soon as he saw a soldier sitting down on the edge not noticing Logan. Logan grabbed him and killed him but the soldier's gun dropped. Three soldiers noticed the gun as one of them asked, "Hugh? You okay back there?" Logan then pushed a wall and it flattened two of them leaving one unharmed. The soldier exclaimed, "I'm alive. I'm alive!" Then Logan dropped down and impaled him. "I bet you thought you were lucky," taunted Logan. Then Logan looked up to see the crashed chopper. He walked forward and found a communication device on a dead pilot. He picked it up as he said, "This is Logan. Checking in." Then Stryker's voice came in, "Logan? Still alive after a helicopter crash? Why am I not surprised?" Logan responded, "I'm on the site now, sir. I found the pilot, but he's dead sir. There's no sign of the rest of the team." Stryker replied, "They parachuted out but got scattered." Logan nodded as he asked, "How's Victor, sir?" Stryker answered, "Your brother's fine. Rendezvous with him at a temple north of your position. You both will rig that place to blow with the C4 he's carrying." Logan acknowledged, "Got it." Logan ran out as he found an exit and hurried before it closed. Then a Beringel slowly climbed up and roared as Logan unsheathed his bone claws. "Great," muttered Logan. The gorilla like Grimm charged at him like a bullet train but Logan was quick enough to dodge it. The Beringel slammed into a wall and got stunned. It dizzily turned toward Logan, who wasted no time to lunge at it. Logan stabbed it on its stomach as the Beringel collapsed on the ground and faded away. "No one told me that there were Grimm here. Guess that security guard 'forgot' to mention that," muttered Logan to himself. "Should've stayed out of my way." Logan pressed the communication device on his ear and said, "Sir, this is Logan. I'm at the rendezvous point but there's no sign of Creed." Stryker radioed back, "We lost communication a while ago, but we're still tracking him moving down the river." The John patched in, "Logan. This is Wraith. It looks like your brother is on the area with explosives. I hightail out of there before it blows." Stryker ordered, "You heard the man. Find a way off that rock and get to the river. You don't have much time." Wasting no time, Logan immediately bolts his way out of temple until he sees another zip line rope. He grabs on and slides down as the temple explodes behind him. Logan keeps sliding down until he reached a dock right by the river. A soldier unexpectedly comes in to challenge Logan but the wolverine Faunus lunges on top of the soldier and stabbed him multiple times. After making sure the soldier was dead, Logan got up and walked to the dock. There were motor boats with human soldiers. Logan jumped on one of them and killed the soldiers on that boat. The other soldiers from another boat started shooting at Logan but he shook it off as he leaped toward the next boat and killed the soldiers. He kept going until he came the last boat that had a soldier behind a rapid fire gun. Logan killed another soldier as the soldier behind the gun firing. Logan used the dead soldier as a shield until he flipped over the soldier, killed the driver, broke the soldier's leg, and threw the soldier into the river. Not too soon, numerous boats began following. Getting the dead body off of the gun, Logan began firing the at the on the other boats. Then Logan spotted another dock as the boat impacted it and he fell on the ground. Then a group of soldiers surrounded him. "He's wounded!" cried one of them. "Keep your guns on him!" Logan asked, "What're you waiting for, huh? Let's do this!" Just when one of the soldiers was about to fire, Victor Creed unexpectedly jumps in from him and ripped off his arms. Logan unsheathed his claws and kills three other soldiers. The last one tried to run away but Victor ran in all fours and pounced on him. Then Victor broke his neck. Logan turned to glare at Victor and declared, "I didn't need the help." Victor smirked, "I was always better at this part than you." Logan retorted, "Yeah, the killing part?" Victor stated, "Day's gonna come, little brother. I won't be there help you." Logan walked away with Victor saying behind him, "Don't worry. You're just like me. You just don't know it yet."
