The four months had been the most happiest for Chris Bradley. He was now a part of a traveling circus and carnival where he owns a booth where customers were given three tries to make a lightbulb go off. However he was using his semblance to con and cheat his customers of their money. "The ringmaster did say to earn a buck," said Chris. "But he didn't say anything about honesty." He was now in his private trailer covered in plug in toys, a model train, and the ceiling was covered with lightbulbs. The traveling circus and carnival was now closed and Chris poured himself a drink. Then someone knocked on his trailer door. "Show's over!" called Chris. Then the person knocked even harder. Annoyed, Chris walked over to his door and opened it while repeating, "Like I said, show's over!" Then Victor Creed showed up and retorted, "Show's never over for us." Victor froze in fear as the plug in toys stopped making noise. "V-V-Victor," stammered Chris. Victor asked, "Aren't you gonna invite me in?" Chris stared at him and tried to keep his cool by nodding, "Sure, go right in." Victor followed Chris inside the trailer as Victor poked his long nail at two light bulbs. "I never told anyone about what happened," said Chris. "I'm living a whole new life now, Victor. No need to bring up the past." Victor nodded as he started to unscrew one of the light bulbs. The light still stayed on as Victor held it down as his claws began to protrude his fingers. The light started to flicker as Chris tried to keep himself together. He said, "You know? I always did think it would be Wade to come knocking on my door." Victor sighed nonchalantly, "Yeah, but Wade's gone." Victor walked closer as Chris sat down on the armchair he was sitting earlier. He looked up to see Victor straight in the eye and claimed, "I'm not afraid of you, Victor." Victor looked confused as Chris took a drink and added, "I'm not afraid of dying." Victor asked coldly, "How do you know? You've never tried it before." Then Victor stabbed his claws into Chris's chest as he screamed in pain. As Chris screamed, the entire carnival and circus's lights and electricity shut off.

Emerald and Mercury left Tukson's Book Trade after killing Tukson. They bumped into someone. "Oh, sor-" started Emerald until she stopped talking. The person they bumped into was Victor Creed. "V-V-V-Victor... w-what are you d-doing here?" asked Emerald frightened. "Came here to take out traders," explained Victor. He looked at the door of the bookstore and added, "But it looks like someone beat me to one." Mercury blurted out, "We'd figured it would take you too long to take them all out!" Then he covered his mouth as Emerald elbowed him. Victor looked at them blankly as they shook with fear. Then Victor smirked, "Good thinking, kids. Divide and conquer. I like that." The two sighed with relief as Victor concluded, "I think that's enough trader killing for one day. Let's go." Without any argument, Mercury and Emerald followed.

They went back to the old warehouse where they looked at White Fang members moving crates around. Roman pretended to be shocked, "Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" He put Mercury and Emerald into a group hug as Victor rolled his eyes in annoyance. Emerald shivered in disgust as she and Mercury pulled away. "Spare us the thought of you procreating," said Emerald. Roman frowned, "That was a joke. And this... just might tell me where you two have been all day. Including you, Sabretooth." Roman produced a piece of paper. Emerald looked shocked and then frustrated as he reminded, "I'm a professional, sweetheart. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something." Holding up the paper, he asks, "Why do you have this address?" Emerald shot back, "Wouldn't you like to know?" Roman replied, "Yeah, I would. Now where have you been all day?" Mercury answered, "Cleaning up your problems. One of them, at least." Victor reminded, "Don't forget two." Roman frowned, "I had that under control." Mercury retorted, "Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise." Victor added, "And a circus freak bolt traveling from kingdom to kingdom with a traveling circus and carnival." Roman snapped, "Listen, you little punk. If it were up to me, then I would take you and your little street rat friend here and..." Victor started to snarl and extend his claws until Cinder's voice behind them asked, "Do what, Roman?" Everyone turned to see her go down a automative lift and walked toward them. Roman laughed nervously, "I'd, uh... not kill them?" Emerald exclaimed excitedly, "Cinder!" Cinder scolded, "I was going to..." Emerald spoke up, "He was going to escape to Vacuo! Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat." Mercury said, "I think he was some sort of cat, actually." Emerald asked, "What? Like a puma?" Mercury nodded, "Yeah, there ya go." Victor spoke up, "Bradley had that one coming for four months. Thought I'd take care of it myself." Cinder snapped, "Quiet. Did I not specifically instruct you three to keep your hands clean while in Vale?" Victor thought about it and said, "Yeah, but I'm not that good at following instructions." Cinder's glare soften as Emerald said, "I just thought..." Cinder interrupted, "Don't think... obey." Emerald nodded apologetically, "Yes ma'am. It won't happen again." Victor crossed his arms as smirked and winked at Cinder. She tried to ignore it as she snapped to Roman, "And you. Why wasn't this job done sooner?" Roman pointed to all of the crates of Dust as he replied, "Sorry if I've been busy stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom!" Victor scoffed, "That's funny, Torchwick. I think you have me confused for somebody who actually gives a shit." Mercury agreed, "You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Roman replied, "Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with! Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might make my next string of robberies go a little smoother!" He clenched his fist on the last word. Cinder approaches Roman as she put her hand on his cheek and assures, "Oh, Roman. Have a little faith. You'll know what you need when you need to know it." Roman looks to the side as she walked back and said, "Besides, we're done with Dust." Roman asked, "O-okay, then what now?" Cinder answered, "We're moving. Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight." Roman asked, "Coordinates?" Cinder replied, "We're proceeding to phase two." Victor followed her along with Emerald and Mercury as Cinder flashed a smile at him.

Once they were in private, Cinder reminded, "I've told you once, I've told you again, please take me seriously when we're with the others on business." Victor shrugged, "By taking you seriously you mean fear you. It's kinda hard to when you're so good in bed." Cinder smiled devilishly, "You just keep pushing me, and I'll have to punish you." Victor smirked with his fangs showing and asked, "Oh, and how are you going to do that?" Cinder pushed him into a wall and leaned toward his face. "Like this~" answered Cinder. Then she slammed her lips into his.
