A Certain Powerful Omnitrix. (とある パワ の Omnitrix)

A Grey Matter in a Hard Place.

"So it's not the Roman Catholic Church who want the esper?" Stiyl asked. "Then what do they really want?"

Stiyl Magnus and Laura Stuart were once more walking through the tranquil garden. This time Tsuchimikado Motoharu was also walking with them.

"Yep, it seems that Misaka was just the personal goal of Albedo of the Galvan. The current goal of the alliance between the Roman Catholics and the American Science company it seems is to get Albedo on their side." Tsuchimikado explained. "Albedo holds the knowledge to countless treasure trove of alien tech. Plus Albedo was able to create an Omnitrix, and even though it's a pale imitation of Benjy's Omnitrix, it's still a valuable asset to their alliance."

"Indeed," Laura Stuart said. "It seems that their helping Albedo retrieve Misaka Mikoto is just a means to an end. As for the Fist of Cthulhu, the Roman Catholic Church see them as evil demon worshippers, so I am sure they will be eliminated once their role is completed."

"But Albedo will get a one way ticket into being one of the top leaders in the alliance." Tsuchimikado said. "So we can assume that the Roman Catholic Church's main goal is something extraterrestrial."

" So why does Albedo want the esper?" Stiyl asked. " Any ideas?"

"None so far." Tsuchimikado said. "But there is a friend of Misaka's that is currently investigating it. I'll pick her up sometime and see what she knows."

"My my." Laura raised her eyebrows."Quite the lazy one to let someone previously unrelated to this mess unwittingly do your job for you."

"Don't jump to conclusions yet, that girl isn't out of the woods yet, so I might just have to go save her." Tsuchimikado said grinning. "And I'll probably have to fight one of the Deadly 12 too. Man, and you think you get the icky jobs Stiyl?"

Stiyl sighed. "You do know I'm coming with you right?"

"Bring Tennyson and Misaka with you as well," Laura said. "Me and Aleister feel that the time for hiding our weapons has passed."

Tsuchimikado stayed silent to this remark. He hated using people, he hated using his friend Touma, and he hated involving Ben and Mikoto without a choice on their part. But it was a necessary evil. After all, that's what Necessarius was all about, necessary evils.

"When do we leave?" Tsuchimikado finally said after a long silence.

"Right now of course." Laura Stuart held out four plane tickets. "I didn't book a super sonic plane this time, the situation isn't that urgent. But I do wish that you keep Tennyson's alien antics to a minimum."

Tsuchimikado laughed. "Your thinking of the ten year old Ben here ma'am, this guy is way more mature then when he used to use GhostFreak* just to sneak into a movie premier."

Stiyl snorted. "You'll be surprised what even the most mature people would do when under enough stress."

Ben and Mikoto were busy packing. Of course they didn't have much to pack. All they had were the clothes they had come to London with and a few of the extra clothes that was provided to them by the church. They also had a few souvenirs to pack, but that was all.

Tsuchimikado came in with his familiar grin. "I see you kiddies are packed up.

"Yeah....." Mikoto said. She was now doing most of the talking.

Ever since Ben's encounter with Phyrexis he had been almost completely silent. Mikoto knew that the images of the sisters blood must have still haunted him. It still haunted Mikoto that was sure. But there was also something else bigger then just that. Ben should have acted relieved when they had gone to the hospital the other day to find Agnese and the other sisters happily chatting with each other. Instead Ben had began distancing himself and looking guilty. He didn't even cheer up when several of the sisters started fighting over him and exclaiming how brave he was defending them. (Seriously, at that rate Ben was going develop a bigger harem then Touma). Mikoto thought about talking to Ben, but she didn't know what she would say. Besides, from her experience, whenever someone said anything insensitive to her she would respond with a whole lot of lightning. She didn't want to risk saying something insensitive and have Ben go Rath on her. But Ben wasn't just a stranger anymore, he was a close friend, which meant he should understand. Therefore Mikoto resolved to talk to Ben after they were on the plane. Both Ben and Mikoto took their suit cases and made their way to the car. In the back seat sat Stiyl Magnus, who thanks to a newly recovered Agnese Sanctis, was deprived of his cigarettes.
