Chapter 38: Whaaat

ASHTON'S POV

"If you love her, you need to stick up for it. Fight for it. It's better when you did something and fail than did nothing at all." Louis advised.

What am I suppose to do? but I think Louis is right.

A newfound courage build up inside me. If I keep holding this back then I think I'll just keep hurting myself. I can't wait all my life. I can't keep hiding.

"Mate. That was a great advice. Thanks." I sincerely thanked him.

"It's alright. I was like you when I confessed to Eleanor. I'm quite unsure because Hazza is Eleanor's friend. I thought he fancy her." He assured.

I sighed. This is harder than I thought.

"Lads, We need to pack up for tomorrow." Paul reminded us.

"Do it right Ashton. I'm rooting for ya!" Harry patted me on the back. He was listening when Louis and I talked.

We all left from the set and gone home. Its a quiet ride since everyone is tired.

"Guess what Calum." He twitched an eyebrow.

"What?" He asked.

"I'm gonna confess to her."

Rae's POV

I really had great time with Luke. It's been a while since we went out.

We were dropped off by the taxi cab to our house.

We both went inside.

"Thanks Luke for today." I smiled.

He kissed me on my lips.

"Too much PDA i see." Michael said. We both pulled back and laughed.

"Well hello there Michael!" I greeted him.

"Hi. Did Luke do something?" My face flushed red while Luke tensed up and shies away.

"Fuck no." I laughed.

"Good. Just checking." He smirked before leaving to his room.

Luke and I decided to go and sleep.

I couldn't sleep much. So I decided to get up.

I went out of the hallway tiptoeing so no one would wake up.

I sat outside in the balcony. It was cold, city lights, tall buildings is all i see. It was wonderful and all peaceful.

"Rae." I heard a voice mumbled. i turned to look around.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?" I questioned him. He took a seat beside me.

"I can't sleep." Ashton simply said. He stared on the view deeply.

"Is there anything troubling you?" I asked. Our eyes met. It turned into different shades. But there is sadness, happiness, anger, and love. I don't know how to explain it.

"Nothing. Just- I need to tell you something." He sounded very nervous. Then he scratched the back oh his head.

My heart thumped. I just feel something different.

"Uh what?" I manage to let out some words.

"I love you." I froze.

I was about to speak up when I felt his lips unto mine. I'm surprised. And what surprised me most is I kissed back.

I pushed him back.

"I'm sorry. I can't do this to Luke." I ran past him. I stormed in my room and started crying my eyes out. What did I just do?

I hugged my knees and sat at the edge of my bed till I fell asleep.

I woke up with bags under my eyes. I didn't bother going outside my room.

"Rae?" I heard him knock. I didn't response to any of what he said.

"Rae." He knocked much more louder.

I opened the door. He looked at me in confusion.

"Rae!" He quickly hugged me. The tears are threateningly to fall down.

"I'm sorry." I looked at him with guilt in my eyes.

"What happened? Just tell me. I want to know." He asked in a concerned voice. He held my chin up. I started to cry real hard.

"I-I'm sorry. Its my fault. A-Ashton kissed me and I kissed back. I-I'm sorry Luke." His eyes were full of anger. His hands slowly dropped off.

Shit. I'm scared. He is going to leave me now. I'm all alone again. I cried more at the thought,

But... He pulled me into a tight hug and brushed my hair.

"I understand. I'm glad you told me. I know you didn't mean it because if it is then you won't be telling me. I knew that feeling after what happened to Allie and I. I never got the chance to explain to you. Now, i'm letting you explain because I don't want us to be apart again with just a simple kiss." He told me.

"But stay here. I need to go for a minute."

"Wait-" then he's gone before I could finish my sentence. I sat there in silence while I waited for Luke.

Minutes had passed till i heard shouts downstairs. I decided to figure it out.
