"Hey, do you think we'll get out of here?" A girl with tubes on her body asked the boy who lays silently.

"Well, because, I'm excited to see the beautiful world out there, ya know?" Happily said by the girl, the boy intently listening.

Their talk was interrupted by the nurse who walked in and checked on them.

"You know, I've always liked you, the way you're silent. You never talk, yet I know you listen." The girl said faintly and the boy looked at her listening once more.

"I'm excited to get discharged, don't you too?" The boy nodded.

"I hope that when we get discharged, we'll plan on a date, and then would go out together, or sleep in or watch movies all night long." The girl said and was shocked that the boy reached out to hold her hand.

"Someday.." She said smiling, looking at the fluorescent light of the room, the boy's lifeless hand still held hers tightly, unwilling to let go.

"Someday." The girl closed her eyes slowly, and the light welcomed them both.
