This is were the story ends. Chris was my normal green, split to pied budgie. I wanted a female, but I got a male. Chris was 6 months old when I bought him from a breeder on July 7th 2016. He lived in the same cage as Elvis, and they got along just fine. They didn't fight, and they shared food, perch space, and water. Chris's hatch-day was January 5th 2016. He escaped June 12th 2017, he was hit by a car Friday June 16th 2017.
