Why is it so hard to quit high grade [edited]

In all seriousness I have been able to get rid of my high grade but my troops are drinking it right I front of me =_=
Anywhere I go on the ark I find someone drinking high grade. If the fraggers don't stop right now in going to slay them.

But that's not all that I wanted to talk about..

Yes I want to talk about this ship

I don't understand one thing about it,

1) why it started
I mean your ratchet and Optimus have been friends since before Optimus got a prime name but that's it.

Also I just realized people ship characters even if they are brothers or sisters =_=
