Chapter 4

I looked out at the moon shining onto the ocean, everyone else was asleep. The ship was anchored and I just couldn't sleep tonight so I came out here.

It was most likely 12:30 or 1:00 a.m. so I tried to make as little noise as possible.

I leaned over the edge and I saw a Dolphin jump and I smiled.

"It sure is pretty out tonight." Someone says as they walk up next to me.

I look over and noticed that it was just Natsu.

"You scared me." I say as I laugh slightly.

"Sorry about that." He smiles at me.

"You couldn't sleep?" I ask and I look back out to the ocean.

"Oh I was sleeping, you woke me up." Natsu sighs and rubs the back of his head.

"Sorry about that." I say.

"Nothing to worry about." He said and it was like I could feel him smiling at me.

"So what did you and Zeref talk about?" I ask.

"There's a Christmas Party he wants everyone to go to." Natsu says.

"The whole crew?" I ask as I look over to Natsu, tilting my head.

"Yep, I'm not sure about it though." Natsu sighs.

"Why not? It sound like fun if you ask me." I smile at him.

"I know. But my dad doesn't like me being a Pirate." Natsu looks down at me.

I never noticed until now but Natsu was at least close to a foot taller than me.

"Well its not my place to say anything, Its the Captain's." I say as I grin at Natsu.

Natsu laughs, "Yeah, yeah Blondie." He smiles.

I smile back, "I'm not kidding though, I would like to go to the party. I've never really been to a Christmas Party with my friends." I say.

"I'll think about it Luce." Natsu says.

"You do know Christmas is next week right?" I ask.

"I know. But if I'm going to this party I need a date." Natsu laughs a bit.

"Oh shoot, I need one to." I say as I put my hands over my mouth.

Natsu just laughs at me.

We both eventually went back to bed, I'm not really sure what it is but every time I'm around Natsu my heart starts to race...

Wait.. I can't be in love with him could I?

No that's crazy talk. There is no way I could like him.. But that kiss we shared I really enjoyed it. Not to menetion Natsu is super, I mean super hot!

Dammint Lucy you do like him.

The next morning I wake up to the sounds of Erza yelling at me.

"Wake up Lucy! Captain has some news!" Erza yells as she drags me off the bed.

I get dressed and walk out of the girls room.

"Good Everyone is up! Now listen I got a invite to a Christmas Party last night." Natsu says.

"A party?" Gajeel asks.

"Who's it from?" Levy tilts her head.

"Prince Zeref." I blurted out without noticing it.

Natsu faceplams, "I wanted to say it!" He whines.

I walk up to where he's standing, "Now listen up! You guys are going to dress in the best thing ever!" I yell.

"So are we going shopping?!" Erza yells.

"Yep!" I smiled.

"Juvia is so happy!" Juvia smiles.

A bunch of the members go running off the ship and heading to the mall.

Natsu, Gray, Jellal, Erza, Juvia, and Me were all still on the ship.

"Okay so you guys aren't aloud to see our dresses. So you go buy a nice suit and we'll go buy our dresses." I smile.

We start walking to the mall and the guys walk away.

"Lucy who are you going to the party with?" Juvia asks me.

"I would like to know that also!" Erza smiles.

"U-um.. I dont have a date." I sigh and look at the ground.

"I think you and Natsu would be cute together." Erza says looking over at me.

My head jerks up and I look over at her, "W-what?!" I blush hard.

"Awe. Lucy is blushing." Juvia laughs hard.

"Am not!" I look down.

"I think Lucy should we're a red dress." Erza smiles.

"Why red?" I ask as we walk into the dress section.

"Because red would look great on you, also its Natsu's favorite color." Erza grins at me.

"You act like he's gonna ask me out." I laugh as I start looking through the dresses.

"He might." Juvia picks up a dress and holds it near her.

"Might." I sigh.

Erza hands me a red dress that's not to long but not to short.

"Go try it on!" Erza says as shoves me into the changing room.

I get changed and I look at myself in the mirror. I actually like this dress a lot.

I walked out of the changing room, Erza and Juvia had already bought their dresses.

"Lucy you look so pretty!" Juvia says and I smile.

"Thanks." I say.

"So do you want that one?" Erza asks.

"Yeah!" I laugh slightly then change back into my other clothes.

I look down at my hand that has my mark on it, I haven't had this much fun in my whole life.

I'm glad I got to join..

I walk out the changing room. We go to pay for the dress. Once we are done with that. We walk to the food court talking about random things.

I look around, "Didn't they say they would meet us here?" I ask.

"There they are!" Juvia smiles at the sight of Gray.

Natsu turns around and waves at us.

I smile at the sight of him.

"Told ya Lucy liked him." Erza says laughing.

"That's not funny!" I clinch my fist.

"Lucy just admit you like him." Juvia laughs with Erza, I sigh.

"Fine I like him.. I bet I can give Natsu a hug before y'all can give Gray and Jellal a hug." I grin.

"You wanna go?" Erza asks.

"Yeah." I say as I run over to Natsu and hug him from behind.

"Lucy what are you doing?" Natsu asks.

"Beating Erza and Juvia at hugging." I laugh.

"I got to talk to you later, just us. Okay Luce?" Natsu asks.

"U-uh.. Sure." I smile at him.
