Aparri X Reader // Fearless

Chapter 7

  You stare at Aparri for a moment, bewildered at how he got there. You literally just saw him, half dead, being dragged away. How the heck is he back?-not that its a bad thing its just... How???
  "Aparri?" You ask still wondering if it really is him. "Is that really you?"
  "Well I am standing right in front of you, I don't see how it couldn't be me." He responded.
  "But how?"
  "What can I say? I'm Aparri. I can do anything."
  "That's a strange answer."
  "Mhrphhh." He answered.
  Oh well. You think. It's Aparri. He's back. That's all that matters now.
  You escort him back to camp, the whole way talking about what happened to him.
  When you get to your destination, you howl,"Aparri's back!" You didn't realize how overjoyed you really were until that moment.
  Everyone came rushing over to him yipping and yapping questions all over the place, like a crazy news crew and a celebrity.
  "Where have you been?"
  "Has (USR) been telling the truth about you?"
  "I love you, Aparri!"
  "How did you survive the phantoms?"
  "What's happening?!"
  "I can't see him!"
Those were just a few things everyone was saying.^^
  "Chill guys! We can talk it all over in my tent." Aparri told the crowd
  You nudge him. "Aparri you tent won't hold even 3 animals. Maybe we could talk it over some other place like at the fire?"
  "Oh, right." He coughed to get everyone's attention. "We've changed locations! I will say what happened to myself campfire at."
  You cock your head in confusion, but you got what he said.

Time-skip brought to by: a broom.

  You're eating amazing phantom soup at the fire with all your friends while Aparri tells the story.
  "So once I got defeated by that elder phantom, he was an amazing fighter let me tell you that, he dragged me to the fortress. -hey umm is this soup made with real phantoms?" He randomly interrupted himself.
  "Ummm... No. Aparri you've eaten this stuff a gazillion times. And phantoms taste horrible." A chef answers.
  "OK good, anyways. I went into this ugly cell and when the guard went away, I burst out through the poorly built cell and darted off. Then I went down 8 flights of stairs and..." Aparri kept boasting about his journey home for another half hour.
  "OK guys I'm going to go to bed now." You tell you friends and leave the table.
  "Where ya going (USR)?" Aparri gives you a shout out.
  "To bed."
  You then head over to you tent but before you went in you realize someone standing in front of the entrance. "What now, Aparri. I'm tired."
  "Thanks for... whatever you here did without me." He said awkwardly.
  "Ya no problem." You yawned.
  "OK." He walked back to the fire to chat with friends.
You walk into your tent, turn around a couple time on for mat, and lay down. You think about how much Aparri had changed since he got taken. He's now boastful, proud, talkative, doesn't know how to talk very well. Even his fur was darker. Maybe the phantom goop stained it dark red.
  How much Aparri has changed since then. You think.

For the next few weeks, Aparri had only taught a fighting class once or twice. It was only about growling to scare your opponent. He was also acting like the king, getting everything he wants, telling everyone what to do, even still he couldn't get his words straight. His fur was still very dark and looked somewhat purple. Man, that guy needs a bath.

  When you go to bed that night you're thinking about him. He must have gotten somewhat brainwashed or got inspired by the phantoms. Something was wrong with Aparri and you were going to find out
