26- Always put up a fight

* Brett's POV *

Ive been waiting for this day for what seems like a month but finally, I see her beautiful long brown hair glisten in the sunlight, shes got dead ends but still beautiful. I sprint downstairs and call to her. She smiles and waves. I continue to run towards her and she jumps into my arms.
"I missed you so much, you wont even believe!" I say spinning her around. I put her down and just kiss her, without thinking but she pulls away. Wes is glaring at me and so is Logan, Logan makes his way over.
"Babe, come help me with something real quick." Logan says.
"Wait what?! BABE?!!!!" I exclaim as i feel my heart just shatter. Astin smiles ever so lovingly at Logan and says, "Yes hes mine and im his." I just stand there mouth agape, not a clue what to say.Logan then kisses her in her neck and pulls her away, away from me. I want to fight for her, but maybe shes moved on, maybe she...she doesnt...she doesnt want me or feel anything anymore. I force myself to call out to her with a sweet smile, "Im sorry for kissing you and congrats im happy for you!" I walk back up to my room and throw myself onto my bed. I just lay there, numb. Not wanting to think anything but a tear trickles down my cheecks and a few more and next thing im wiping and wiping all the tears away so that my skin is red and starting to burn.
"Bwet come play Dowieth wif me." Lizzy says as she walks in. I dont want to look at her cause my face is red and hot.But she inches closer and closer and closer until shes on my bed.
"Bwet why you cwying ?"
I just stare at her.
"Bwett what ith it ?" She insists.
I continue to stare.
"Bwet?!!!!" Shes getting impatient and if i dont answer in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, oh there it is: "BWETT TELL ME NOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!" Lizzy yells.
"Astin." Is the only word i can mutter, I cant seem to say it.
"Cawwy on..." She urges me to continue.
"She has a boyfriend."
Lizzy just stares at me and then her focus shifts to the wall before she sulks.
"But you were thurpothed to..."
I pull her into a hug and kiss her forehead.
"YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR HER BWETT!!" She exclaims her idea out loudly and proudly.
"YOU HAVE TO GO GET HER!!!!" Lizzy yells yet again and then sprints out my room as is shes chasing something. Maybe shes right tho, maybe if i fight for her she will then understand how much I care, how much i want and love her. Just maybe then she'll understand. Okay I need to come up with a plan so I yell for Lizzy.She doesnt answer so i jump up and sprint jusy as she did, to her room. Shes not there. OMG dont tell me she... I run to my rooms window and see her knocking on their door vigorously. OH NO!!!! Again i sprint downstairs and out to where she stands but im just a bit too late.
"Athin yaaaaaay I mutht tell you thumthing, it'th vewy urgent."
She pulls a giggling Astin in and shuts the door in my face, locks me out ontop of it. OMG WHAT DID I DO !!!!!! Wait the tree, i run towards the tree all out of breathe and i climb it until the thick branch the basically leads to her window, luckily its not shut and i step in but my foot slips. Now im hanging from the windoq sill, hanging on to keep all my bones intact. I push up as much as i can and swing my legs to hook over the branch, all in one suprisingly quick and smooth motion. My upper body now dangles from the tree so i use my upper body strength to pull myself up and eventually stand on the branch, this time when i climb through the window Im more careful but i fall through the wimdow, i should really try and slow down but i cant. I fall hard and flat on my face with a loud thud and the next thing i hear footsteps coming towards me. Its Astin and Lizzy.
Astin and Lizzy start laughing at the bundle on the floor, which is me, and I jump up brushing ,myself off.
"Are you okay?" Astin asks through giggles.
"Im great thanks !" I say with a smile and they start laughing harder.
"Lizzy what did you tell her?!" I whisper yell at Lizzy.
"We just had some girl talk thats all, nothing for you to know." Astin says with a smirk.
"Yeah Bwett quit being tho nothey." Lizzy adds and they start giggling again. Honestly I've never been more confused and I just laugh and they start laughing cause i dunno why im laughing and we all just laughing.
After we calm down a bit i ask Lizzy if she told her and she shakes her head no.
"Well sorry to intrude but we should probably get home..." I say picking Lizzy up.
"Oh no problem but please stay theres no one home and I'm lonely I can do with a bit of company..." Astin says and at this Lizzy's face lights up and she starts yelling yaaaay across the house.
"Well thats a definite yes!" Astin exclaims and starts running after Lizzy.
