Keshia was getting the hang of things. Once she had a routine, she stuck with it. Her uncle was reading the news paper when saw they were holding a local talent night a club phoenix. She knew could sing and rap. But stop when her mother died. Her little cousin Jodie said "can you help me tie my shoes please." Keshia said "sure." Keshia tied her shoes, and help them get ready for school.
Victor had gave her a key to the house. Everyone had went to work/school. Keshia was at home alone. So she took a bus and headed into town

Later on that day, she saw club phonix. As she was closer she saw they were hiring. As she went in, the manger saw her and ask if she will like to work here. Keshia only wanted to sing, so manger said that she can, but also work here. Keshia agreed. That night Keshia told her uncle, and he was proud of her. The manger Nicole introduce Keshia to the stage.

As she was singing, Hakeem Lyon came in to the club. He stop when heard a beautiful voice. He look and he was starstruck by the young women beauty and talent. He sat down in front to hear that girl sing. Hakeem knew he had to get to know this girl. When the song was over, everyone was standing up and clapping. Keshia smiled and walks off stage.
The night was going good. Once it was time to close. Hakeem walks over to her and said "hey, you were pretty good, what's your name?" Keshia looked up and said "I'm Keshia and you are?" He said "I'm Hakeem lyon." Keshia nodded and went back to work. Hakeem said "are you doing anything tomorrow?" Keshia knew this was coming, she said "thank you, but no." Hakeem said "OK, maybe another time?" Keshia said "I'll think about it." Before Hakeem could respond, Keshia uncle had pulled up and told her it was time to go. Keshia said "its nice meeting you Hakeem." Hakeem said "you too, are going be here tomorrow night?" Keshia knew this guy wasn't going give up so she said they she will be here.
