"I hate math," Seungcheol slumped over his desk once he received his math test from the other day.

"What did you get-" Seokmin had to cut himself off; the grade was horrible.

"I hate math," Seungcheol repeated.

"Do you want me to help you?" Seokmin asked.

"No. Last time you helped me, you ended up leaving my house because I couldn't learn," Seungcheol sighed.

Seokmin grimaced as he placed the test over Seungcheol's test. Seungcheol was right; he couldn't learn. He was too dumb.

"I hate math," Seungcheol said again before burying his face in his arms.

Jeonghan couldn't help but hear, and he couldn't help but feel excited. Everything was falling into place so perfectly. The book was just writing itself, the puzzle was coming together just like that; Jeonghan's plan was working, and Jeonghan did absolutely nothing.

"Hey, Jeonghan," Seokmin turned to Jeonghan. "What did you get?"

Perfect.

"Me?" Jeonghan turned around in his seat and batted his eyelashes. "Are you talking to me?"

Seokmin was confused.

"I mean, there aren't any other Jeonghan's in this class,"

"Why, I got a hundred!" Jeonghan couldn't help but brag.

Jeonghan's nose was held high in the air, and Seokmin could've sworn Jeonghan's nose was getting longer.

"Uh, yeah, that's great," Seokmin was getting weirded out.

"Seungcheol," Jeonghan could barely contain his excitement. "What did you get?"

Seungcheol groaned and buried his face further into his arms, causing the test to fall to the ground. Jeonghan bent down and picked up the test. He saw Seungcheol's test and grimaced just as Seokmin had earlier.

"An F?"

"Shut up," Seungcheol mumbled into his arms.

"Wait, Jeonghan," Seokmin poked at Jeonghan's shoulder. "Aren't you good at math?"

"I'm great at math, not to toot my own horn," Jeonghan giggled.

"You already did, you asshole," Seungcheol propped his head up, his elbow on the desk and his hand under his chin.

Jeonghan bit back a retort; the plan needed to succeed.

"Couldn't you help Seungcheol out, then?"

Seungcheol brightened up, and Jeonghan couldn't believe his own ears. The plan was working.

"I could-" Jeonghan started.

"Please! I need help with math! Please, please, please!" Seungcheol grabbed onto Jeonghan's hands and begged, yes, begged, Jeonghan.

"Of course," Jeonghan smiled.

It looked like the Cheshire Cat smile, but no one caught on. Mingyu, who was watching the scene from afar, made eye contact with Jeonghan when he was grinning, and wanted to cry.

Jeonghan was getting what he wanted.
