Nakasakay ako sa kotse ni Ian ngayon. Papunta na kami sa restaurant ko. Bago pa kami makaalis kanina ay katakot-takot na bilin at banta pa ang inabot ni Ian kay Daddy.
"I like your parents. They are protective of you. Especially your father." natatawang sabi niya. "Yung Mommy mo naman, ang cool. She cares for you pero hindi kasing istrikto ng Daddy mo."
I rolled my eyes. "I know, right. Si Daddy talaga ang mas strikto sa kanila kasi nag-iisang anak lang daw ako at babae pa. My Mom's supportive and understanding kaya she trust me to do the right things."
"Yeah. But I actually find them cute. They seem to have different attitudes but I can see that they love each other." nakangiting pahayag nito habang nagmamaneho.
I smiled, too. "Yeah. They really love each other. My Dad might look tough but he's soft when it comes to me and my Mom. Especially with my Mom."
Tumango lamang siya at hindi na umimik kaya hindi na rin ako nagsalita. I just stared outside the window.
Napangiti ako bigla. Kahit wala kaming imikan habang bumabyahe ay kuntento na ako. I did not even feel bored. On the contrary, I feel happy and contented just by seating on the passenger seat of his car.
"You want music? Medyo traffic, eh." Ian asked when we stopped because of the traffic.
Napalingon ako sa kaniya at nakangiting tumango. Muli ko na namang nasilayan ang dimples niyang kaylalim... mga six feet deep.
Binuksan niya ang car stereo at pumailanlang ang kanta. Nagkatinginan pa kami ng marinig ang pamilyar na kantang iyon. Nasa part na na malapit nang matapos. I felt myself blush.

As the song continued to play, Ian and I just stared at each other. Unti-unti siyang ngumiti kaya mas lalong uminit ang mga pisngi ko.

Nagbaba ako ng tingin ng hindi ko na makayang makipagtitigan sa kaniya. Nahihiya ako na hindi ko alam. Mabilis na rin ang tibok ng puso ko.
I bit my lip to suppress the smile that wants to form on my lips. Shit! Kinikilig ako, eh!
