Change

What I’ve learned in life

Is that you can complain all you want

You can whine

And cry

Kick and scream at those around you

But if you don’t do anything

About the core problem

Nothing is going to change

You will remain in the same state

And so will everything else

You have to rattle the foundation of all that is wrong

Shatter the glass

And plow over the rumble of what remains

So you can build something new

Something better

Stronger

Something good

Build the foundation of good so strong that nothing will ever be able to sway it one way or the other

Build it so beautiful that not even the gods will question it’s glory

Build it for you

Your friends those you hate and those you love

Give it to the people to admire and marvel at

But do it because it needs to be
