Victor admired the way Elly was destroying Hero Man. She had systemically started with ruining the thing he loves most. The attention. Now it was all focused on her. Not him. Then, she brought him down a few pegs. Making him more human. More relatable. Hey, kids. He wet his pants in the third grade too. Anyone can be a hero. She was making him unspecial.
Victor watched in eagerness as she did what he couldn't do and brought his world crashing down on him. It seemed, that's what she did best.
