February 14th

Victor guided Elly to the door with her hands covering her eyes.

"Now?" She asked.

"Not yet," he smiled.

He held the door for her and led her through. Her heels clicked on the tile floor, arousing her curiosity.

"Now?"

"Now." Victor laughed and pulled her hands from her face. They were in a recently remodeled coffee shop, but it was empty. The tables had been pushed to the side except for one, with a single candle and places set for two. A barista dressed like a waiter stood nearby, holding menus.

"It's where we first met," Victor explained. "I know it's kind of cheesey, but-"

"I love it." Elly grinned.

Victor held out his arm for her to hold. "Madam." He led her to the table and pushed in her seat for her.

The two ordered and ate and talked and laughed. It was everything Victor had hoped for and Elly was completely enamored. They were to engaged to notice the man standing just outside the window, staring at them kind of awkwardly.
