Rose was a single
twenty year old college student,
who made a terrible mistake,
who couldn't rewind the past.
But if she could,
She would.
And now it was simply too late.
"How could you not have known?"
A friend asked.
"Was he at least good?" Wondered another.
"Isn't that illegal?" Blurted a third.
"Does anyone else know?"
"Did you tell him your age?"
"Girls!" Rose had shouted then. "We shall NEVER and I mean NEVER, mention this conversation again! Got it?"
And one by one, the girls nodded their heads, solemnly swearing their friend's dirty little secret.
After all, she had slept with an underaged boy...all summer long.
