(Y/n) didn't know what to do.

I mean like, they could help fight but (Y/n) didn't know how to fight Sans. In a second, they would be gone. Plus, when was the last time (Y/n) used their save point?

Ya sure, (Y/n) fought Sans in the genocide route but that was Chara. Not (Y/n). . . maybe.

(Y/n) couldn't help Alphys either. They didn't know how to treat wounds or broken bones, or anything at all. And Alphys kept blabbering about something in gibberish that fell deaf on (Y/n)'s ears.

So (Y/n) was pretty much useless in this situation.

(Y/n) stared at the fight before them, as Sans grabbed Asgore's SOUL and smashed him into Toriel, who let out a painful cry. A bead of sweat rolled down Sans's skull as he stared at (Y/n) for a second. Sans smiled, despite the situation at hand. If he even cared about what was going on.

Sans's stare didn't last long as Undyne ran foward and slashed at Sans with her spear, growling in frustration as he dodged again. For a moment, Sans frowned at something, then put on his most horrifying smile.

(Y/n) felt like crying at that moment. They saw how much their friends were in pain and needed help, and (Y/n) couldn't do anything about it. They could only stay Determined.

"This is your 189th attempt to hit me, Undyne!" Sans spoke for the first time during this. "Time to give it a rest." Sans said as all his wepons disappeared and stretched out his arms.

Undyne and the others remained silent. Undyne still remembered what happened, and didn't like how this was going.

"No? Pity, you guys. There was a glimmer of a good person inside of all of you. Well, except (Y/n). But now. . . you lost your chance at redemption." said Sans as both his eyes glowed red and blue.

He lauched a series of attacks at Undyne, Toriel, Asgore, and even (Y/n) who recently joined in to fight. Or to talk. Whatever tickles your fancy.

"STOP IT SANS! WE DONT WANT TO FIGHT!!!!" the voice grabbing Sans's attention. Chara's sickly smile covered Sans's previous one as soon as (Y/n) screamed, then it quickly faulted.

The area chilled as everything seemed to stop for a moment. Even Undyne stopped for some reason. Sans stood there clutching his head all of a sudden. He screamed out in pain as his legs gave out on him and dropped down.

"E-Enough. . ." Hurt laced Sans's voice. "Let's go." He said as he pushed himself off the dirt and faced everyone. Alphys finished treating Papyrus, and came over to fight too.

He lauched another series of attacks, which everyone tried to dodge. The attacks became more extreme, stirred up from Sans's emotions. . . or something.

A miscalculation was made as Asgore got hit by a beam from the Gaster Blasters. It wasn't enough to kill him, but it was enough to prevent him from standing. Alphys managed to drag Asgore over to where Papyrus was so she could treat him.

"Good riddance!" Sans mumbled to himself, watching Alphys dragging Asgore away before stepping to the side to dodge Toriel's fireballs.

"Stop Sans! You can't dodge forever!" (Y/n) called out as they tried to run at Sans and hug him.

Ignoring the comment, Sans said "I know! It's more fun this way, right!?"

"It's a beautiful day to be burning in Hell." Sans remarked casually while throwing some bone attacks. For some reason, it sounded more like Chara then Sans. Weird.

"LESS TALKING, MORE DYING PUNK!" Undyne yelled as she proceeded to try and swipe at Sans with her spear. Sans's eye blazzed as he readied his next attack. He lifted Undyne and (Y/n) up with telekinesis and threw them at the trees near Alphys. Undyne and (Y/n) both jumped off quickly in time to miss the bones that came out of the trees, but the attack left (Y/n) winded. (Y/n) quickly ate some monster candy before rejoining the fight.

"All I need is one lucky hit, PUNK!!" Undyne howled. She didn't like that Sans was dodging her attacks. "I'll hit you! Just watch!"

Sans barely dodged in time as Toriel came behind him and tried to blaze him with fire. He stumbled back before teleporting a few feet behind, puffing from exhaustion. He was nearly out of energy. If the fight ended right now, (Y/n) knew that he wouldn't be walking for the next few days.

"One hit?" Sans laughed. But it was not his usual laugh, but a dark chuckle full of malice. "You know nothing! I'll just come back to life again! (Y/n) knows what I'm talking about, right (Y/n)?" Sans stepped up a little, making the three remaining fighters (Undyne, Toriel, and [Y/n] ) all move back.

He spit on the floor, a mixture of bone marrow and saliva. The amount of magic being used was too much for Sans, that it was damaging his HP.

But I don't care about his HP.

Sans flung himself forwards, aiming at Undyne. He did an upper cut and a right hook there, and Undyne hissed in pain. He did a round house kick, making Undyne slam into a tree.

Where did Sans learn karate? The world may never know. . .

(Y/n) ran to Undyne, realizing she wasn't moving. However, the move made their defences open and (Y/n) fell to their knees near Undyne, clutching the bone that was lodged in their stomach.

"Wow. Pathetic." Sans mumbled as he turned and went to face Toriel.

(Y/n) looked up at everyone, their CHECK activating instantly.

(Y/n) tried to get up again, only to realize that they weren't in the ground anymore. (Y/n) looked around and saw that Undyne, Toriel, and everyone else was floating too. Even Papyrus.

"SANS!!! PLEASE STOP I-" (Y/n) tried to scream but was cut short when they were flung into a tree. The world spun as colors danced around (Y/n) eyes.

Sans had smashed everyone into a tree, leaving everyone in a brutal pain. (Y/n) still had some conscious left, and managed to pull their head up to look at Sans.

They were met with a smile.

But not Sans's smile. An smile full of hate, and sadness, at the same time. It was full of evil intentions, calculating, yet soft.

"If you're my friend. . ." Sans suddenly started. "Then I'll have fun killing you!" said Sans as his eyes blazzed red instead of blue, and Gaster Blasters hovered over him, aiming for the people at his feet.

"Goodbye."
