I squeeze my eyes shut and rubs my temple as I try to relax.

"You okey, Cain?" Liam voice suddenly chided from behind me.

I let out a sigh before I open my eyes. Concern written all over Liam's face. A small, gentle smile appears on my lips. I ruffled his hair. "Hey, don't worry, bud. I'm okey."

"A-are you sure?"

"Of course. Now, now, stop worrying yourself over me, alright?"

He nod his head.

"Good." I chuckle and ruffle Liam hair again but my hand instictively freeze when I felt two pair of eyes on me.

Slowly, I glance towards Drake and Brent's way. I don't know why but I pulled away my hands of Liam's head when I saw a sorrow inside their eyes.

I quicky cut the silent ackwardness drifted through the air and cleared my throat. "U-um, well, I think it's time you'll go home now."

"That's a better and good idea, Cain," mabilis na sumang-ayon sa aking sinabi si kuya Cerus.

A resist show on their faces but when I give them my small, sincere smile, it's completely gone.

Drake stand up. Brent stood as well. "If you say so, Cain. We will go now. I also remember that you're still need to rest. And I am not the one whose going to prevent you for gaining your strength back, right Liam?" he then gave Liam a knowing stare.

I felt Liam fidget beside me and speak in a very low voice. "Uh, Cain, h-he's right. You need to rest. Magpapa-alam na rin ako sayo," pagkatapos ay bumaling naman sya kay kuya Cerus. "Kuya, u-uuwi na po ako."

Tumango si kuya Cerus. "Okey. Sige, ikaw ang bahala."

Muling bumaling sa akin si Liam.

"Cain."

I smiled at him and caress his red cheek.

"I'll see you tomorrow in school, yeah?"

He smiled at me too.

"Yes. See you tomorrow, Cain." After Liam replied at me, we heard a car's horn outside.

"Nariyan na ang sundo ko," ani Liam.

Tumingin ako sa gawi ni kuya Cerus.

"Kuya, ihahatid ko lang sa labas si Liam," paalam ko sa aking kapatid.

Tumango si kuya Cerus.

And after Liam bid his goodbye to my brother, I lead him out the house. I noticed Brent and Drake followed us behind but suddenly stop when kuya Cerus interrupted them.

"You two, stay back," well, it's more like an order and not a simple request.

I could feel my own reluctance and prefer to ask him why'd they need to stay but he shooing me and Liam.

"Go on. I'll just gonna talk to them with something. It's just take one or two minutes, Cain," kuya Cerus smiled at me in assurance.

I give the two brothers a one and last look before I nod my head a little to kuya Cerus and walk outside of our house, with Liam by my side.
